Beachfront vacation rentals in Negombo

Beautiful location in Negombo. We were on the 9th floor with great views of the beach and the town. Three balconies. Pleasant open kitchen and seating area. Good bathroom. Good beds and closet space. Wifi not very fast.

Our family group of 5 adults stayed at ‘Home within a City’ from the 6th Jan to 11th 2018. Our hosts Mihiri and Kapila were on hand to greet us when we arrived, and took us through all the formalities. The apartment was exactly as described, well laid out, and equipped with everything one could require on holiday. The excellent location gave us plenty of choice to eat and drink outside. The building had 24hr security and was well maintained. Boswell Residences was a short walk from Wellawatte train station (10 minutes into the Fort), and 5 minutes up to Galle Road from where you could catch a local bus into most places in town. Best was the pickme app with which you could summon a small car that was as cheap as the ubiquitous tuk-tuk, and airconditioned. The Majestic Mall, less than 3km/10min ride away cost me Rupees150. (Always take a metered tuk-tuk). Everyone in our group were unanimous – this is an apartment that we would gladly return to. Thank You Mihiri & Kapila for being attentive and gracious hosts. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would hope to return again.

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The place itself was cozy, clean and comfortable . Kabindran was incredibly helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

Felt at home as we came. The caretaker and his wife was very kind and helpful. We have been in this villa before so we had a great experience last time as well hence we decided to come again with our parents. Place is very spacious with a lovely view of the pool, some greenery and the beach. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to go on a small vacay not too far from Colombo and enjoy with family and friends.

Thank you so much Priyantha. We had an incredible stay at your place. We were a family of 4 traveling with my parents and the apartment was perfect for us. 3 bedrooms with a bathroom per bedroom. Enough room for us all. The view over the ocean was great. The apartment was clean. We explored Colombo easily from there and enjoyed a swim after a long hot day of walking. We would definitely recommend your apartment and stay again if we were in Colombo. The value for money was excellent.

Susila's place is perfect for group and couples stay , I loved very much her delicious breakfast , this place is so comfortable for our group , place is situated near to town it may helps a lot for our work .beach also very near to the property it takes only 5 minutes to reach to the beach . Susila helps to our work also , finally Susila is a nice host and the place also very beautiful and stylish , highly recommended this place for those who likes to visit Negombo , thanks again Susila for your kind hospitality .

Peter was an amazingly proactive and helpful host, more than happy to give help and advice and answer any questions. The apartment was just as described. Very comfortable with good facilities and a perfect mix of being on a relatively quiet street with sea views but so close to amenities and transport options.

very clean and well-equipped apartment... upstairs of a family living below very nice and discreet and present if needed... a unique air conditioning in the room which is paid for and is not reported as such. very close to the big traffic of the city and the sea, but far enough away to sleep properly!!

We spent a night and a half here. Very flexible check in as we arrived at 4 in the morning. Very children-friendly place.

Prashanth's place was extremely clean and nicely decorated. You can see a lot of care for the house. The location of the place on the map was hoping for proximity to the beach . You should be aware that the house does not have parking. Also the kitchen equipment is devoid of gas. There's a microwave and a kettle. Local eateries are nearby. The host was very quick and easy to communicate with. Thank you very kind hosts Prashanth and his wife for the opportunity to spend a few days in their nice home.

Our family of 8 had the most incredible time staying at Upul's beautiful beach house in Negombo. The property is stunning, located just a few meters away from the beach, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the shore. It’s hard to believe such a gem is so unbelievably affordable! The house itself is spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for a family getaway. A special mention to the caretaker—she is one of the sweetest and most hospitable people we've ever met. The meals she prepared were absolutely delicious and added so much warmth to our experience. Upul, the host, was incredibly accommodating and ensured everything was perfect for our stay. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the experience even better. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations and left us with cherished memories. Jayantha kept in touch with me for any need from check in to check out. I stayed with my family for 1 month. The house is great for staying with family. I wanted to stay for 1 more month, but I couldn't due to some personal problems. Jayantha is a very good person. He gave me many concessions. I apologize and feel sorry for you Jayantha. From this place, everything is very close to super market, local market. You can go anywhere in Colombo quickly. It is an amazing feeling to stand on the balcony of the house and see the sea. Finally, I will say, my family and I had a wonderful time. Thank you Jayantha for your cooperation.

Great, convenient location close to shops, restaurants, hospitals etc. Peaceful and safe neighborhood. The building is well maintained with dedicated parking, garbage collection point etc. Mr. Balasundaram’s flat is very clean, neat and tidy with a nice view of the sea and the city out of the balcony. Mr. Balasundaram is very friendly and went out of his way to help with our stay. Can’t thank him enough for his kindness. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would definitely book again.

Our stay was fantastic! The beach was just a short walk away, and there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The hospitality was exceptional. Definitely want to visit again

Tusith was very friendly, responsive, and always willing to help. The property is within council type flats which we were a bit scared when we first came but the property was perfectly fine and safe. some things I would improve. - the WiFi doesn't work properly and extremely weak. I had to do a lot of work so this became an issue, but I bought a local sim card and used hotspot. -the shower drain needs a mesh type gauze inserted. We had some lively insects regularly come through there. Other than above nice stay.

Very convientent location for takeaway foods, which I enjoyed during my short stay. Also, being next Marine Drive, I enjoyed morning walk.

The apartment was neat and clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. Had all the amenities mentioned. The apartment is located in marine drive and is close to the city centre. The host was responsive and nice.

A wonderful host who genuinely prioritizes our experience over profit. He even went out of his way to pick us up since he was nearby, making us feel truly welcome. The house is just a 30-second walk from the sea, with waves crashing against the rocks—an experience no five-star hotel could match in both service and warmth.
