My husband and I love this place, this is the second time that we have stayed here. Whenever we come to DC, if available, we will continue to stay at this place! Wonderful, it is a short walk to the train station, trader joes, restaurants, and the market!

Art and Alison were fantastic hosts! Their place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and in a great location. They were quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. The home felt top notch — from the cozy decor to the quality linens, toiletries, and coffee. It truly felt like a home away from home. Would definitely return. Thank you both!

The accommodation was beautiful and felt like home. We met Barb and she was so lovely and welcoming. The property is so close to all the historic sites and union station. Bed was comfy, sofa bed, shower n bathroom lovely. Kitchen had all you need. Barb had cookies made for us along with bottle of wine which was lovely touch. I’ll definitely recommend this property and if I get a chance to come back I will stay again.

It's a great cozy place to stay as it says. The place is very close to the busline, which can take you to the train for the city. Howevr, I have 2 minor things: the path from street to the place where you stay is not ideal, requires climbing down the stones placed on the slope. Also, if you are a tall person, your knees might touch the bathroom cabinet while using the toilet.

This was the first time I’ve used Airbnb and I was so happy with my pictures. I personally think that the pictures don’t do justice for how nice it is. Vincent’s place is extremely clean and so cozy. The little details were appreciated- coffee bar, the stickers with the directions, makeup towel, board games, utensils and dish ware, etc. I had no issue with parking. I liked that Vincent’s place was a bit away from downtown (only about 15 mins drive) because the area was so quiet and peaceful. I loved my stay and hope to be back.

Adriana place was just like the pictures. The unit was good for my quick stay in DC. You have to enter around the back of the unit. Would be good if the house number was in the back. Bathroom is very tiny, but serves it's purpose. Metro station is a quick walk, but the area is a little rough. It is a basement unit so expect to hear noise from upstairs.

Had a brief but wonderful stay at the Capitol Hill suite. Apartment was as-advertised, nicer & more homey even! Bedding was incredibly comfortable, especially after a long day of travel. Save this listing to your favorites, sure, but don’t wait too long. I’m certain this place books often.

Excellent weekend at Kate and Pablo’s home with my parents in law and eight year old son. Their home is a home, so their belongings are everywhere - we thought it made it more cosy and loved the artwork. Beds were comfy and while lived in, it was clean. I sat outside for an hour reading and it was a lovely relaxing space. Parking was relatively easy - once had to park round the corner, only about 250m away. And we used the same permit when we went for dinner. Location is amazing - I went for a run to the Capitol and around the neighbourhood on Saturday morning. Great way to see the area. We went to the “Roost” for coffee, grabbed sandwiches for botanical gardens in Safeway and went to Matchbox on 8th for dinner then Jeni’s for ice cream. All good and convenient. Gluten free cafe nearby was a bonus for my celiac husband! I thought it was very expensive, but searching hotels it felt a fair price for three double rooms and maybe DC is just expensive in May! This was a great find! Would 100% recommend this location for future guests. They had little snacks in the cupboard and bottled water nice and cold in the fridge. Great communication from the hosts!

Lovely apartment. Clean, well-appointed with everything we needed. Quiet, family-centric neighborhood that is walkable. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the parking space in the rear which allowed us to explore DC without worrying about navigating parking downtown. Lillian was communicative and proactive. The overview of the neighborhood and close by conveniences was helpful.

Stayed at Erin’s place for a night and wish it was longer! The room is steps away from the restaurant I met with my friends at. It is situated near all that Del Ray and the rest of Alexandria has to offer. In addition, the bed was quite comfortable and the suite itself is quite luxurious.

This was a great spot! The location less than a block from Lincoln Park was wonderful, with a cute coffee shop nearby too. The full kitchen, washer/dryer, and full set of amenities were perfect for a longer stay. This place was homey and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first time in Washington DC. This location is great with close access to the Capitol and surrounding monuments and museums. Elizabeth is very kind and helpful with places to go and things to do. There is a great neighborhood breakfast shop very close by and easy access to the subway and shared ride companies are easy to use at this location. The apartment is very cute, comfortable, and clean and Elizabeth provided many amenities to make our stay easy and comfortable. If we come back to visit DC, we will definitely look to stay here again! We have even recommended to our kids the next time they visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay Elizabeth!!

Such a great stay and very convenient location! Directly around the corner from the Metro. Perfect for an overnight stay in the city. Very detailed instructions to make check-in/put a breeze. Will happily stay here again!

My roommate and I LOVED staying here after getting off school for the year (both teachers). Jennie was super responsive and helpful and the place was perfect. So many thoughtful details. She had cookies for us when we arrived!! Great location in Capitol Hill, very walkable. We took a train so we were able to walk from union station in under 20 minutes. Hope to stay here again soon.

Claire is an excellent host and her place is lovely and very welcoming. We were there as a family and really enjoyed the space. Also Claire was very responsive and helped answer our questions fast. We’d love to stay at her place when we visit the area again.

This is a rare find and a real treat. I was visiting DC from the UK and had originally planned to stay in a hotel in downtown but as I live in a quiet English village I was worried about lack of sleep from the big city buzz. I searched for an Airbnb (as I always favour these v hotels) which highlighted safety and peace - and Celia's lovely apartment came up. This is such a fabulous place to stay in DC: very quiet and safe area, no night time noise, within 5 minutes of the metro station for a quick same-line journey to the centre, and very clean and comfortable. I loved every minute. The icing on the cake is it's such a great value. Thank you so much, Celia.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The self check-in with a simple access code was super convenient and made everything easy from the start. The location is amazing — close to all the main tourist spots in Washington, DC. We were just minutes away from the National Mall, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy beds, and a quiet, safe neighborhood made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting DC and would love to stay again!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at George’s place. The location was perfect, we weren’t far at all from the attractions we wanted to see. The unit was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. My favorite area was the patio and my friends enjoyed the shower with the jets after a long day of traveling. I would definitely stay again and recommend highly to anyone visiting DC.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. This listing is just as good as advertised, with a convenient location close to popular spots throughout the DMV area. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated the free on-site parking. The home was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with modern gadgets that made the stay even more comfortable.
