This was a very comfortable apartment for our 4-days stay. From our experience staying nearby, basement apartments can sometimes have unexpected issues. This one has clearly been built right. We had good hot water, great water pressure and very responsive heating & AC. And when we wanted to air things out, we could open windows to let the breeze blow through. The bed was especially comfortable. Kitchen is well supplied. And everything was easy to access. We especially appreciated the TV with a great selection of channels & streaming options. This is a small, galley-style apartment. So be advised that it’s a tight fit. But overall, we have no complaints.

This stay was an overall great experience. Prior to arrival, clear and informative check-in instructions are provided. The space within the condo is used well, being a smaller size. Functional kitchen with upgraded appliances and dishware provided, a shower with rain head (an awesome feature) and a king bed. Upgraded washer/dryer that are easy to use. Well lit with adjustable lighting. There are 3 fans scattered throughout as well to help with airflow on the warmer days. The unit is ground floor, windows have a privacy film applied with curtains for additional privacy. There is minimal light which still comes in at night to bedroom, but was minimal to us and still easy to fall asleep. The location overall felt safe, moderately busy street at peak traffic hours but otherwise quiet. Walking is easy, well lit streets at night. 7-8 minutes to yellow/green line and 10 minutes to blue/silver/orange. Zone 2 parking pass provided, which is a fantastic feature to a DC stay. Great communication.

Wonderful place to stay after spending full days downtown DC! Very comfortable home, everything we needed was available, thoughtful touches here and there. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with pans and utensils needed for quick meal prep. We got groceries upon our arrival and made our dinners there each evening. The half mile/15 minute walk to the metro isn’t bad, and we had four little ones in tow. There is an even closer bus stop but you have to time it right. My son mentioned early street noises waking him up, but a sound machine took care of it, and the noises weren’t enough to be disruptive. Definitely recommend Kennie & Heather as attentive hosts with a comfortable place for guests!

Amazing stay! Eric was able to accommodate me very last minute with a super late check in, very fast responsive and beautiful property!! Great location with easy parking right next door, and was super clean with very a comfy bed. Much needed for. Quick rest but would absolutely have stayed longer! This was perfect for a quick weekend trip! About a 20 minute walk to all the iconic locations of DC with great restaurants/coffee nearby. The host was very responsive leading up to our trip to answer all questions, as well as during check-in. I was a little nervous about finding a place to park on the street, but it was much easier than I anticipated. The Airbnb is well stocked with whatever you might have forgotten at home, and I’ll add that the bed is very comfortable! I would stay here again in the future.

Good neighborhood and place was well kept. Communication was good. A few things could be improved: The team we communicated with did not always have information about our specific location. We also suggest adding a few more items to the kitchen (like a dish drying rack, more utensils, and measuring cups) to facilitate cooking, but overall we made it work. Thank you very much!

We had a great stay in Silver Spring! Were visiting family and also doing some sightseeing in Washington, DC. The bungalow was well located, and the perfect size for our family of 3. Our tween daughter loved having her own room, and the full kitchen meant we could stock up on breakfasts and snacks. The Metro is close with easy access to DC, and the Sligo Creek trail was great for a walk.

Soundia's place was exactly as described and true to the photos. We liked how private and peaceful it was. We ubered to the downtown area every day and it was only a 10-15 minute ride and were able to visit all of the historic sites. We drove to Arlington, which was only 20 minutes from the house. We drove to Mount Vernon, which was a 30 minute drive. We liked how the house was in a quite neighborhood. It had to be one of the cleanest Airbnb homes we have stayed in and had the most comfortable beds. The bathrooms were stocked and there were plenty of k cups for my morning coffee. The keurig powered up very fast. (I haved stayed in many places where the keurig took forever to make a cup of coffee.) My husband and I stayed there with our 2 kids - 15 and 11. The kids liked how they had separate beds but got to sleep in the same room together. Overall, our family was very comfortable in Soundia's place and would stay there again the next time we visit DC.

I stayed at Chad and Elodie's with my wife, toddler and an infant for several nights in April. The Capitol Hill neighborhood is beautiful and so walkable. We loved visiting Lincoln Park, less than one block from the apartment. The hosts provided a parking pass and metro card which made it easy for us to leave our car parked on the street and use the metro system for visiting attractions. The hosts were extremely prompt in responding to messages, kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best BnBs I have stayed in! Clean, equipped all you need, and I enjoyed the location as it was close enough to Nats park & the National Mall but the neighborhood feels quiet and calm, especially with the yard being fenced in… it felt safe for our family! We also kept talking about how comfortable the king bed was! The hosts are also very responsive & helpful. 10/10 recommend!

I have stayed at David & Kathy's place before...This is a very nice apartment located near DuPont Circle and all of the exciting things on 14th Street. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and the unit is very private, separate entrance, etc. I would highly recommend this place, I plan to stay there again when I visit DC.

This is was our second time here, highly recommended! Richard's apartment is very comfortable and his attention to details what made me book this apartment again. Everything you might need during your stay is available for you. The bedding is the best thing about this apartment very soft and good quality. Bathroom and laundry room are convenient and clean. Even simple things like the coffee beans were good quality.

This was a perfect match for our trip. We needed a clean, quiet place to rest and cook a few meals while we took the grands to DC. Everything was nicely tidy. The area was peaceful. We had a blast. We made a mistake once with locks and keys and our wonderful host was there very quickly. He was just wonderful.

Maggie’s house was perfect for our family getaway! You can’t beat this location. It was a quick walk to Eastern Market metro and tons of local shopping/dining options, yet the street was peaceful and quiet. We were able to spread out and relax as a family of three with two dogs. Tyler's place was perfect for our stay with our extended family. It's spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax indoors and out. It has a very nice large porch and deck, great for some solitude or for kids to play. The beds were comfy and the linens ample, there are gorgeous large bathrooms and luxurious showers, the kitchen was well-stocked and included an amazing high-end stove, and the living spaces are nicely decorated and furnished with art and tons of books. One bedroom had lots of toys and kids' books, a very nice touch. Tyler was helpful, accommodating, and responsive. The location is very convenient to Arlington National Cemetery and within walking distance to a Metro stop. Everything about this rental was fantastic--we highly recommend it if you need a lovely space for a large group. Thanks, Tyler!

Great little spot to get some rest! We enjoyed our stay and loved playing in the grass out back. Host was super proactive and allowed us to check in early for a small fee. Washer and dryer was nice to have and the master bathroom was large and perfect. Had a nice walk in closet with a door to the bathroom. Nice living room setup for the kids to play games on the table. We loved this home! Beginning with the beautiful architecture of the neighborhood, this apartment was right in the midst! Lovely apartment, easy to enter right off the street, and the entire place was just like brand new! Comfortable space, comfy beds and very nice amenities. They also were very helpful and responsive when we needed assistance. Driving distance to all the DC sites and fun, while staying in a quiet peaceful neighborhood! We would definitely stay here again!
