Spacious Apartment in Historic Townhouse

We are on Capitol Hill, a short walk to the US Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress and the National Mall with its iconic memorials, Smithsonian Museums and National Gallery of Art. Half a block away is Eastern Market, an historic indoor food market open 6 days a week. On the weekends it expands with outdoor farm stands and vendors selling crafts and other goods. Within blocks are many restaurants, shops and the Metro. If you need parking, please ask us for a free permit. Thank you!

Note: While suite is private and closed to main home, home has 2 cats—a consideration for those with allergies. Also, it’s an old, connected home with original floors, and thus not soundproof.

Everything is perfect: the neighborhood, the location (20 min on foot to the White House, all kinds of public transportation nearby), the layout and furnishings of the apartment, the absolutely wonderful kitchen, the equipment (we missed nothing, nothing!). Jason reacts within minutes and takes care of every need you express. When in Washington D.C. , stay here!

Wow!! What an amazing stay. Beautiful apartment with great amenities. Private, comfortable, safe, extremely clean and convenient. We had great weather and walked everywhere. Close to Union Station, a great coffee shop, restaurants and markets. Amanda is an amazing host who’s thought of everything.

Great hosts, highly communicative, comfy space, great TV, great shower, pillows, bed, excellent! Neighborhood was great, close walk to H-street, bike rental in front. As they mention in the listing, the entry is in the rear, in the actual alley. It is lighted, so it's fine. Just gotta finesse the Uber/Lyft pickup a bit (walk around to front of house or call Lyft driver to come to back). Great spot though!

Modern DC Condo | Walk to Monuments | 1000 sq ft

We loved staying here! It is perfect for a couple. Right in the heart of downtown, CVS around the corner, and so many options for food just in walking distance. We would really recommend Colonial Parking that is located right next to the building or Park America that is only a block away. We loved riding the Lime scooters/bikes as well for anything that was farther than 15 minutes of walking distance and we always found them available. We enjoyed the huge TV in the living room, spacious bathroom, and full-length mirror in the room. The unit is on the first floor and in the back corner which was a nice luxury. The building is super quiet and rarely ran into anyone else on our 3-day stay there. We loved Dominick’s easy instructions and friendly hospitality! We found everything that we could need here, thank you Dominick!

What a lovely spot for my brief stay in D.C.! I loved the beautiful design details, as well as the thoughtful amenities like coffee and various toiletries the hosts made available. The bedroom was so cozy—the deep-colored walls and moody lighting made for a good night's rest during my stay. And the neighborhood is fabulous! I enjoyed a few walks to get food, go to yoga, and simply explore the area. I'd recommend this place without reserve.

The apartment was a perfect place for my quick stay in DC! Hosts were very responsive, clear and accommodating. When I entered the apartment, I was welcomed by soft music playing, a Nespresso maker with pods, bottled water and some small snacks, as well as a nice note. The apartment is very clean and has everything you'd need. Definitely recommend!
