Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Washington

This is a lovely home in a neighborhood with a lot of historic charm. Very walkable to the Navy Yard, bikeable to the Anacostia Trail, and we easily walked to the National Mall and the Smithsonian. The house was clean, cozy, and very quiet. Parking was incredibly easy, plentiful, and free. The outdoor spaces were really nice. It rained a bit and we could sit out on the private front porch, and when the sun was out there was a nice back area with tables and chairs. Sam was a kind, responsive, and accommodating host. Would definitely stay again.

Maggie’s house was perfect for our family getaway! You can’t beat this location. It was a quick walk to Eastern Market metro and tons of local shopping/dining options, yet the street was peaceful and quiet. We were able to spread out and relax as a family of three with two dogs. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Maggie was responsive and helpful from booking and through our stay. 10/10, would book again.

Amazing place to stay when visiting DC! Very cozy and things have been updated compared to the photos. The location is great…Short 10 minute walk to Union Station or ride the trolley there. We also grabbed Lime bikes/scooters and rode around site seeing. The two separate units are helpful for traveling with a big party. We had 8 people and it was a very comfortable stay with everyone having plenty of their own space. Owner is very responsive to anything we needed as well!

I had a great stay at Omid's place. He is a lovely host and even let me check in early given my flight arrival time. Cute, cozy apartment with everything you need. Would stay again.

My wife, two kids, pup and I all enjoyed our stay at this well appointed and super comfy home. It is in a great location with parking on site and a cute park right out the back door. Walk to lots of cute restaurants, bus and metro easily. The host was super accommodating and easy to get in touch with. Will definitely stay here again if ever in the DC area.

my family and I had an amazing time at Julia's place. She is an amazing host and the house was well furnished and we really enjoyed our 11 day stay there. look forward to coming back again.

I LOVED my stay here. It is on a beautiful residential street, but close to everything that is happening in DC. So, you have the quiet and privacy of an actual home, but you’re literally a stone’s throw from the action if/when you want it. The house itself is super cute, impeccably decorated, and I felt incredibly comfortable and safe. The patio is fantastic, and the enclosed patio was a favorite spot for reading or relaxing.

We loved our stay! It was so great and easy for families. We loved that whole foods was close and we could grab grocery items 3 minutes away. A walk from all the main attractions! And Gary! He was just the best! So helpful and kind. Absolutely stay here!

Nice building that has many amenities and is very close to train station. We enjoyed the week visiting all of the sites DC has to offer.

We were a three-generation family of 5 who had a truly great stay here. It was super clean and has character. We were happy for the coffee, ease of parking, and local places to go. Was so great to be in a lovely neighborhood that was a short drive to the National Mall. Nathan was helpful, friendly, and responsive. Kids loved the board games. Thank you so much for a fantastic DC trip!!

This place was even better than the photos. Spacious, clean, and very welcoming. Check-in was smooth, even though I arrived outside the usual hours. Hassan and Stella’s communication throughout my stay was excellent. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They checked in on us from time to time and always responded faster than expected. I would absolutely stay here again!

Paola’s home is a special find. It is tastefully designed and well-appointed with interesting art and furnishings. The large living room worked well for my daughter’s bridal shower. It is located in a super quiet and safe feeling section of NW near Silver Spring. I highly recommend Paola’s house.

The place was great for business or pleasure travel. Plenty of space, and very clean. Location was ideal as well, a couple blocks from a metro station. Would highly recommend.

This place was great and Randall was responsive and very helpful. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen and living spaces were great. Location was only blocks away from the metro, ballpark, and several restaurants and grocery stores which was certainly another plus. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had great time in DC and staying at Cassandra’s house were perfect for recharging and enjoying. My wife loved all the details and the good taste of the house. We were surprised with several amenities and gifts during our stay. I highly recommend Cassandra and Michael as Airbnb hosts!

Jillian’s apartment was just what I needed for a quick stay in DC. The place was clean and had everything I needed. I didn’t do any cooking there but there was a nice coffee maker. Bed was comfortable and so was the TV room with a good couch. It is a basement apartment so there isn’t much in the way of windows or natural light, but I didn’t spend any time in the day there. Also keep in mind it is a solid 15-minute walk to the metro, so I ended up mostly getting an Uber to downtown (which was easy). Overall, a great spot for a short visit to DC!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute little Airbnb! Sarah was our host and she was absolutely fantastic — so friendly, helpful, and truly made us feel right at home. The apartment itself was in a very safe neighborhood, easy to find, and just perfect for our needs. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. We highly, highly recommend staying here — Sarah’s hospitality made all the difference and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Beautiful place! Very rustic feel but so nice. Everything was very comfortable, and in a good, safe location. Large TV and couch space was nice to relax as well. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful and spacious sousterrain. Living room with kitchenette, spacious bathroom and separate bedroom with good bed. Parking with permit on the street, not always in front of the door unfortunately, but doable. Half an hour walk to the Capitol. And the metro station at Union Station is a fifteen minute walk away. We were there the three nights we could stay there very happy!

Great locaton and solid recommendations on food and activities. The O street museum was such a fun time. The Emissary coffee not to be missed. We walked to the mall via the rock creek trail. Dupont circle metro was super close and very convenient. The host was easy to communicate with. Beds were comfortable. Tiny bathroom but worth it.

Nicole was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and extremely thoughtful. The place was clean, well appointed and in a great location for us. We had a nice stay and felt right at home.
