Vacation rentals with a kayak in Navarre

The house was wonderful and cozy. It was filled with personal touches that made the house feel like a home. CiCi was also helpful and responded quickly with whatever we needed. Overall, our family had a very good time staying here.

Jeff and Monica’s place was extremely nice and clean. I have been using Airbnb for years and they by far have been the best hosts. Quick communication and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is not only in a great neighborhood that feels welcome and secure, but it being 8 min from some of the most laid back and beautiful beaches in the area is so undersold. I went to the beach at sunrise and sunset daily while working remote for 3 weeks. I barely went to the more popular ones in the area because this local one is so great, and if you like scuba diving the best dive shop, dive pros, and boat charters are only 10 min away. Also has very quick and easy access to Orange Beach and Gulf Shores Alabama, which in my opinion is the best parts of the local area.

This place is amazing! Clean and feels like home. So much space and room for so things to do. The house is secluded but not at the same time. The small “beach” at the house is a major bonus. Kids could easily go play and we could watch from the porch. We seen all kinds of wildlife from eagles, cranes and even a fox. This was the first family vacation we have had in years and it was over Christmas. Dillon did awesome with a Christmas tree and lights on the house and even supplied a gingerbread house for us to build. We definitely plan on being back in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the outside much more.

Very ecstatic with Airbnb. Eric and Katie were like working with family members. Had a life changing event in our family and thought we were going to have to change our dates I had originally reserved. Eric was very helpful during that period. We love this area. We have family about 50 miles from the Emerald Coast. We were able to check out the two peers going to Destin and Pensacola for activities. Also were able to get into Baker for the Strawberry Fields, and Samuel‘s steakhouse in Crestview. Don’t forget to use the National Seashore to go into Pensacola. All a very easy approximately 30 minute drive. It was just the two of us with our two small dogs 🐶 🐶 Thanks again. Would love to reserve your place next year. We loved our stay at the Traveling Mermaid. The house and property were amazing. The outside living space, pool and view were better than described. The house is beautifully decorated with and very comfortable. Paintings through the house gives its a fun, eclectic feel. My son enjoyed paddle boarding and our dogs loved exploring the backyard. Shelley and Dahl were very responsive when we had any questions. We have been visiting the area for 15 years and this is one of our favorite rentals.

Had an amazing time down in Pensacola!! The air bnb was perfect, and had so much fun. We really enjoyed having the bikes, we did not get a rental car, so it was very easy to get around Pensacola Beach with the bikes!! Thank you again for everything!!

Lovely home with everything that we needed. The home worked well for 4 adults, Yorkie dog and a toddler. We walked to the beach and also to the bay, used the bikes to bike to buy snow cones, and loved the pool. The little area for a dog was wonderful and the storage area provided everything we needed for the pool and beach ( even a wagon, chairs and sand toys!) I liked that the floor plan was split with two bedrooms and a bath on either side of the combo living area and kitchen. This allowed for some privacy. Wonderful location close to restaurants, shopping and groceries. We had a wonderful time and we are so appreciative of you opening your home to us!

Such a cute cozy place! My boyfriend and I loved the decor and it was so clean!! Kimberly was in top of everything she’s such a great host. Definitely book here so worth it. The beds are so comfy too you will sleep like a baby!

Enjoyed our stay at the octopus cottage. Vincent was great. Felt like our personal concierge. He even bought us a shade umbrella to use at the beach AND offered aloe for sunburns 😂. All in all great stay. Only complaint is that despite it being close to the beach as the crow flies, expect a 30 minute drive to the beach on the weekends. Closer to 15 minutes if there’s no traffic. But traffic slows down VERY easily. However none if that reflects in Vincent or the octopus cottage. Would stay again!

We’re repeat visitors and our stay this time was just as lovely as the last. The Nest offers a cozy place to hang out, bed down, and base from. We love spending time kayaking the sound and watching for wildlife. Beaches, seafood, and all the Ft.Walton/Destin vacation fun is close by, but the Nest is homey and easily fit our family of four. Very grateful for laundry to wash bathing suits in between beach days!

It was the perfect home away from home! Great location, when we go back to Pensicola we will stay again.

Nice place to stay with family and friends…. We was in 4 adults and 3 kids, and it was perfect, the fact of just have one bath may take us little tight, but the rest of house was really spacious…. Great outside space, to parking and/or play with kids. view of Sea from the house is spectacular. We could stay for a lot off days, the house is very comfy and welcoming…… They also have one side gate that work well to come in with boat/jetski or trailer……If I could describe this property in one word it would be: AMAZING.

Wendye was super responsive and proactive as our host. We planned to bring our two goldendoodles and typically use a playpen instead of a crate. Since the house rules say a crate must be used, I ran the playpen by Wendye for approval and she was very understanding and accommodated us by allowing the use of it instead of crates. Overall the stay was exactly as expected and we were very happy to have chosen this host and property! Thank you!

This place was great for us. We were in Pensacola for baseball and the location was close to everything. It was the perfect place to come back and cool off after the games. It’s very clean, it has everything you need to have a home away from home. Chad and Katie were very responsive and friendly. They allowed us an early check in which was greatly appreciated and reached out to let us know about an event we could attend in the neigborhood. Would stay here again!

Our family really enjoyed our stay here! The home is beautiful and much bigger in person! They accommodate so much from TVS in every room, plenty of seating, labels on all the kitchen drawers which was a huge plus. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. We’ve been to some places before where they were greedy on toilet paper and towels. Not this place. The yard was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed the colorful lights outside. The private beach was perfect. By all the accommodations and cleanliness of this home it was by our favorite spot yet. Very peaceful! We would love to return in the near future!
