Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Nakagyo Ward

Highly recommend! Place felt like home - clean, spacious for a large group, laundry detergent, shampoo etc. Quiet neighborhood and a great walking path about 10 mins away. Only 5 mins from train as well as a nice mall with great supermarket. Host helped us with our luggage transfer. Enjoyed meeting Sao's husband and son! Thank you for a great time in Kyoto and for sharing your beautiful home!

Loved our stay! Location was very convenient, just 5 minutes away from Kyoto station. Home was beautiful and spacious for our family of 4. Host was very kind and answered any questions we had very promptly. Bonus point to us is ride 4 🚲 discovery all of treasures in Kyoto. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are back Kyoto.

The home was just as described. Very beautiful home with all listed amenities present. The neighborhood is quiet and safe yet still within walking distance to local restaurants, transit, and attractions. It was a comfortable stay and worth every penny.

Loved location and being so close to the Temple. We were able to avoid the crowds by going early. Just a street away from the main road. Very walkable to other areas of Kyoto. Be prepared for a walk up hill especially if you have luggage. Our group of 9 enjoyed our stay & would definitely highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Kyoto.

This Airbnb was accommodating to us as a family of 5, it had all the necessities that we needed, was close to the train station & supermarket, it’s in a nice quiet area. 10/10 I would stay here again.

This is a great place for travellers on a budget, train station was within a 6 minute walk and supermarkets close enough. It can sleep up to 6 individuals, it would be a squeeze to put a couple in one bunk. Mattresses are thin also. Overall a really good place for what we paid!

We had a great 3 day stay at Ken’s apartment. The neighborhood is perfect for exploring Kyoto - train and bus stations are just down the block. We walked to a different restaurant (off a list recommended by Ken which made our life easy) every night and had 3 delicious meals. There are shops and stores all around and the Nishiki market is very close too. The space was perfect for us - great bed, a frig and a freezer (with an ice cube tray - wow!) plus a washing machine. The terrace is amazing for breakfast, evening hour relaxing and watching the birds (herons in the river especially). The river path is great for a walk or run. There’s a great gelato place down the block. It’s quiet and comfortable. Ken is an amazing host - friendly and helpful. Book this place - and enjoy the real life style of Kyoto. Highly recommend!

I'm a repeat guest! That should say a lot. Place is conveniently located, has everything a single person needs for an extended stay. my favourite local activity was taking walks along the river and watching the trains.

The house has everything you need, spacious and was a comfortable for fit for our group of 6 people. We loved the vibe of the place. The place was very clean, kitchen is nice, big fridge, and good sized shower room and separate bathroom with two stall toilets and two wall urinals, which was great for our large group. The beds were comfortable and fully equipped kitchen. It is located about 5 minute walk from Tejinbashisuji station. perhaps only inconvenience was the washing machine was a bit lacking and also outside in back. Overall a very comfortable and spacious place! Host was informative and replies promptly. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend.

常棒的一次入住体验！ 民宿的位置非常好，步行就能到八坂神社、清水寺、祇园等景点，早晨出门拍照也很方便，避开了人流高峰。周边街区安静又有生活气息，散步时总能遇见一些小惊喜。 房子在四楼，需要爬楼梯，但对我们来说完全不是问题。房间本身干净整洁，布置简约温馨，住起来非常舒服，像是在京都拥有了一个临时的家。 房东也非常贴心，入住说明清晰，有问题也回复得很快。 总之是一次很满意的住宿体验，谢谢用心的接待！

Great place, plenty of room for sleeping and bathrooms. Great location, easy to get on the LUUP bikes and ride around.

这次和好友一起去关西玩，在小黛家住了三个晚上，真的很棒，典雅的日式榻榻米别墅，内部装饰的也很漂亮，住在里面非常有代入感，别墅位处京都富人区，环境非常好，虽然不在市中心但配套设施很好，地铁和便利店都是极短的步行范围内。然后，小黛姐人真的超级好！很热心，入住之前不厌其烦的在微信上回答我各种问题，到京都当天更是开车来山科站接我们，然后给我们详细的介绍京都应该怎么玩，怎么坐车，还让我们碰到问题随时微信上联系她，最后一晚还拿出珍藏的红酒招待我们，给我的感觉不是房东，而是多年的好朋友在日本招待我。

We loved staying here! It had everything we needed and was peaceful and had beautiful surroundings. it was so convenient that it had a washing machine. There is even a delicious bakery next door! I recommend this location! Naomi was so kind and helpful.

Chiho was a very gracious host and her house is beautiful. It was also very well stocked with everything we needed. I would definitely return!
