The house was newly renovated in 2020, located between Kyoto Station and Kintetsu Toji Station, just a few minutes walk to AEON MALL and Kyoto landmark Toji Five-story Pagoda, within 200 meters of Lawson, 7-11, Family Mart, Fresco Supermarket, Fresh Market, KFC, Mos Burger, Yoshinoya, Matsuya, BOOKOFF, Cinema Kyoto Minami Kaikan, etc. The house is a brand new two-story one-house building in a quiet traditional neighborhood in the south of Kyoto, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, up to nine beds, free Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine + dryer, air purifier, etc. It is about 900 meters from Kyoto Station, 12 minutes on foot, and only 150 meters from Kintetsu Toji Station, 2 minutes on foot, making it very convenient to visit all the attractions in Kyoto. In accordance with the relevant regulations of the Kyoto City Hotel Industry, guests are required to provide their passport, residence card, and other identification documents for registration before check-in, and we will pay the Kyoto City Accommodation Tax on behalf of the guests. Maximum occupancy: 9 people (1F: Japanese-style tatami room for 4 people; 2F: Western-style single bed x2 for 2 people + Japanese-style tatami room for 3 people). No smoking in the entire area, including the street in front of the house, and please keep quiet after 9 pm to avoid noise. Guest check-out time is 10:00 am, late check-out for more than 60 minutes without reason will incur a half-day room charge, and late check-out for more than 90 minutes without reason will incur a one-day room charge. The exterior of the house is equipped with surveillance cameras, which only film the street in front of the door for daily security and management of the outdoor area, this equipment is a necessary facility for the relevant provisions of the Kyoto Hotel Business Act.

The owner of the house is a Japanese female artist/painter —— Ueno.Her avant-garde paintings in the 1980s remain at home, and Japanese architecture and art showcase in all corners of the house, making it seem that today we can't help but admire. The Kyomachiya "Fang-no Door" is located in Naka-jimachi, the site of the "Daiji Temple" of Heiankyo.A thousand years ago, the Emperor sits on top of the Takodo Yasuza of the Greator's Palace to meet the imperial servants and foreign envoys.Nowadays, the only ruins of Daji Temple have evolved into commercial and residential areas. There is a bus stop 1min walk from the house and there is a JR/subway station 10min walk with easy access to all the attractions in Kyoto city. There is also a 24-hour Lawson/711 convenience store, drugstore, vegetable shop, butcher, seafood shop, restaurant (Kyoto cuisine, sushi, tempura, ramen, eel rice, Izakaya, Japanese curry, bakery, and so on), it is very convenient to live. While the house was renovated and modified, it retained its original traditional wooden and empty building structure, and added modern kitchen and bathroom facilities.I hope you enjoy this pure, comfortable and zen Japanese experience in a real Kyoto home.
