Very pretty, quiet and comfy place to stay in. The hosts are extremely friendly and responsive. There's also washing machine which is a plus point for our stay. We would definitely come back here again if we were to travel to kyoto!

This was a beautiful, peaceful home and super close to a subway station. I will recommend this to any friends who might go to Kyoto.

Perfect spot for 10 people. Great location and loved the authenticity of the sliding paper doors, beds on mats, etc. Very comfortable and loved the location and host.

The house is in a quiet alley.Tidy and clean in the house with lots of space.Fully furnished and new.Convenient transportation around the house.Can walk to Nijo castle and kyoto imperial place.We spent 9 nights here.Worth!Host was responsive to messages and detailed.Being able to stay at this property made our trip to Kyoto enjoyable!

The house is nice and clean with all the amenities mentioned. Walkable distance from the nearest station. The host provided us with all the convenience stores nearby. Also a very generous gesture of allowing us to checkin way earlier than our checkin time, Kudos. Overall a very good stay.

Amazing find! Perfect location close to many sites whether by walking or train. Neighborhood was quiet and house felt like we were at home would stay here again!

Loved the place so much! Didn’t want to leave, was magical.

Very accessible to tons of restaurants and the subway. Lots to choose from. The river walk was beautiful. It was nice to sit in the little shops, wind down and relax facing the river.

Wonderfully resourceful and responsive host, Shan was a pleasure to deal with. Guesthouse is a top notch new-built with modern western convenience perfected with Japanese sensibilities. Shan was a generous and ultra professional hosts, provided my family of 5 not just with regular amenities but quality snacks, treats and indulgences in his charming three-storey guesthouse. Everything was perfect

The house was wonderful, the location was really quiet on the outerskirts of Kyoto, perfect for hiking and get away from the crowded areas. We have enjoyed the garden as well as the cozy living room.

Shiki’s place was very well suited to the needs of our group of six for six nights. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable, but also trendy - and with a respect for the history of the building. It’s far enough from the city center to be quiet, but close enough to be walkable and close to trains. The place is very stylish and aesthetically pleasing, and we had everything that we required, including laundry facilities. Many thanks for a great stay .

Had a great stay here! Everything was clean and nice. Bathroom was great. If you're tall, just watch your head so you don't hit it on the low door frames

The place is as described in a quiet neighborhood, good for walking around to appreciate the beautiful flowers in front of some houses. There are grocery stores within ~20 mins walk downhill to a main street of the area. It was very helpful to have a pick up and drop off to the subway station services by the owner.

charming little place in Kyoto. The host really went above and beyond in ensuring that we had everything we needed. If you are tall, your may need to watch your head in a few places, however!

Friendly staff. Clean room. There is a beautiful atmosphere inside and outside around that part of the city.

The location of the B&B is very eye-catching, there are convenience stores and fresh food supermarkets nearby, the Host is very nice!!All processes will be given detailed text answers and food recommendations!They also sent snacks!The tableware is complete and the room is clean and tidy.The surrounding environment of the house is also very quiet and peaceful, highly recommended!

We had the best time here! The most beautiful house which really gave the full experience of living in Kyoto. Spotlessly clean and loved the tatami bedroom. The bath tub and shower downstairs over looking the amazing garden was a highlight. Made our stay in Kyoto extra special and would 100% stay here again :)

Very convenient location in the Arashiyama neighborhood. Only a 6 minute walk to shops, the bamboo forest, or the larger neighborhood train station. There is a smaller train track right behind the house, and we were worried about noise, but it turns out those trains don't run at night. Very responsive owners/ management- it was a great stay.
