This was a comfortable and functionable place to stay. It's quite a way out of the cente of Kyoto but public transport is exellent with a bus stop right outside the building. The host met me at the property and was very helpful, giving me lots of information.

The sleeping area is furnished with two double beds, each covered with light beige bedding. A patterned curtain draws attention to a window, allowing natural light to enhance the space. Two neatly folded towels are placed at the foot of one bed.

The Host was always attentive to all our inquiries. The accommodation is as it appears in the photos and in fact it is much larger than it seems. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, with shops and supermarkets less than 100 meters away and typical and inexpensive restaurants nearby. It is 150 meters from the subway station which greatly facilitates your stay. An excellent option and recommended in Osaka.

Fast internet makes this one of the best value for your money options in Kyoto. The Northern stop right next to the apartment building of Bus 46 takes you right to the Big Attractions of Kyoto. The area is in a quiet neighbourhood. It may take a bit of time to go to Central areas like Gion. However, this is exactly what I would like to come back to after a long day outside - peace. The neighbourhood also has a lot of things to do a see, all walkable distance. Plenty of options for convenient stores and restaurants too.

We made a small mistake and forgot to return the key when checking out, so we ended up leaving it at Kyoto Station. Bella was very understanding and went out of her way to pick it up, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a wonderful stay in a serene location—highly recommend it if you're seeking calm and relaxation!

The house itself is spacious and fully equipped with everything you need. I really enjoyed morning runs in the peaceful neighborhood and coffee in the garden. Highly recommend for a relaxed, local feel!

Had a pleasant stay at this guest house. We truly experienced living in a traditional Japanese home with tatami, futon, and other authentic touches. We especially loved the backyard area—it was such a nice space to relax. The facilities were also very complete. However, we do have a few notes: some areas could benefit from a bit of renovation, and just a small suggestion—perhaps consider changing the “Staff Only” sticker on the front door to “Storage Room” to make it clearer for guests.

The subway is about 5-6 minutes away, and there is a 24-hour convenience store.Especially the Host was very friendly and welcoming!Will introduce Kyoto and recommend attractions, and also help with pick-up and drop-off ~ The house is very comfortable. Haruka's apartment is situated very near Saiin-Station (5min walk) and its restaurants in a quite street. There is a supermarket 4min walk in the other direction. It is big with 2 bedrooms, a great bathroom, a washing-machine and everything you can need to cook in the tiny kitchen as well as spices, oil, tea, coffee... There are also brochures about Kyoto's attractions and a very interesting book about Japan's history. The best part of our stay at Haruka's House was to meet the owners (they live upstairs), who welcomed us as we arrived with many informations, japanese tea, fruits an sweats. As we left, the had looked for the train-connexions to our next destination and gave us nice advices as well as crackers for the trip. It was so nice, we felt at home from the first minute and we enjoyed so much their company. We even had the chance to borrow their bicycles to tour around Kyoto. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We definitely hope to come back!!!
