Vacation rentals with breakfast in Nagara River

Kyoko was a fantastic host, who even met us at the door before arrival to allow us to put our bags in early! She provided lots of local recommendations, had a beautiful space, and even provided us food and other snacks! It is in a great location, 15 min from Nara Park and 5 minutes to Nara Station (if train noises keep you up, be sure to bring earplugs!) and I cannot say enough great things about this stay!

exactly as described! peaceful and beautiful! everything in the apartment was top notch and the apartment was full of ameneties that were needed and more. the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. the location is peaceful and walkable but it is not very close to the train station. personally, we didnt mind the 15mins walk there and back though and it was well worth the peaceful and nice apartment. the host was wonderful and shared some local paths to walk in the bamboo forest right next to the house. would love to stay there again in the future. thank you again Naoko!

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enamored by this place. Kozo and the rest of the team were so welcoming and hospitable— walking us through every detail, providing recommendations, and take the time to learn about our travel needs. They provided more amenities than I have ever experienced at an Airbnb (skincare products, delicious snacks, and more). I could not have dreamed of a more picturesque place to spend my time in Kyoto. The neighborhood is quiet, local, with several good food options nearby and a stunning shrine just minutes walk away. It felt like we had warped back in time. We actually teared up as we closed the door to move onto our next destination.

This is an incredible boutique accommodation with beautiful decor and a generous stock of snacks. It is a rare gem where the space itself is something to be enjoyed rather than just a place to sleep for the night. The staircase to the second floor is quite steep, which may be challenging for guests with large luggage or mobility concerns. One of the highlights is the brand-new system bath, ideal for those who want to enjoy a relaxing ofuro experience in private. Since the building is located right next to the train tracks, you likely will not need an alarm clock. Some rooms include blackout covers, which are helpful for guests who prefer not to wake up with the early sunrise that begins around 4 a.m. in the summer. Overall, 後藤's place exceeded every expectation.

What a privilege to stay in an Edo style home. We enjoyed exploring the home and especially loved the bathroom and water trough out the front We drove here from Takayama and found it to be a great stop for a couple of nights with beautiful walks close by. We explored the kiso valley and the local neighbourhood (Mizufune Post Town).

We had a wonderful stay with Kuniko. She is a very kind and helpful host, and we loved meeting her Labrador. The room is well appointed and very comfortable. The breakfasts she prepared each morning were delicious. The location is close to a station and several playgrounds within walking distance. Thank you, Kuniko!

Absolutely recommend this stay in Osaka! The apartment was spotless and well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—and the host went above and beyond with warm hospitality throughout our stay. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the buzz of Dotonbori, but in a quiet enough spot to relax after a big day. Comfortable, convenient, and full of charm—don’t hesitate to book!

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

Seconde fois que je viens dans cet air BNB. cela m'avait tellement plu lors de mon premier séjour en solo que pour moi c'était une étape obligatoire pour le voyage ou je fais découvrir le Japon a ma mère. Ce fut une nouvelle fois incroyable Ichie san a été très gentil, nous a beaucoup aidé et a cuisiner très très bien. je conseille fortement, cet Airbnb est un réel trésor, que ce soit humain, en conseil, en discussion ou en souvenirs. La chambre et les futons sont très agréables et confortables.

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

Very classy and nice place. Appreciated luxury interior. We had a short night stay so didn’t venture out much, but the area was nice.

Close to Fukushima station, close to luggage delivery office (open only Saturday /Sunday). Room was clean, bathroom was spotless. Laundry powder, vacuum cleaner, washing machine was provided. Would stay here again.

第一次和朋友一起来日本旅行，此次的住宿体验十分舒适，房间干净整洁，满足了我们对于日本民宿的想象，周边也有便利店和公共巴士站，生活和交通都十分方便，房东也是非常热情，每天早上还有很好吃的早餐，如果说下次来到京都，我肯定会毫不犹豫的再次选择这里。

Chris went out of his way to make me feel welcome. If you are an English speaker, it may be that he can answer cultural and other questions about Japan. Chris was kind enough to drop me off at a swordsmith’s workshop nearby where I spent the day.

非常好的体验，房子很大也很干净，我们可以使用一楼的洗手间和整个二楼，我们是三个人入住，只用了楼上的两个房间，但是哪怕是七八个人也是可以住下的。下次还会再来！

yukie的客房在我们到达的几天前起火了。很遗憾我们没能体验到这个房间，但是yukie和kavin为我们找到了另一个住处，我们住进了他们的朋友，津川夫妇家。津川夫妇也是非常友好和热情的人，我们非常愉快，就像多了两位家人一样。 感谢yukie总是非常及时和热情地回复我们的消息，并来车站接我们。yukie的英语很好，并且很乐于交流。我们很高兴在一起聚餐，并认识来自斯洛文尼亚的朋友。这里是日本的乡村地区，很多风俗和景致都与城市不同。我们很高兴能有这样的体验，这是一个安宁、恬淡、美丽的地方。y & k的精神深深感染了我。我非常希望一切困难都能被克服，祝你们平安、健康、幸福！

Chieri en haar moeder en hun schattige hond zijn hele lieve hosts die er alles aan doen om je verblijf een echte authentieke Japanse ervaring te laten zijn. Hun huis is prachtig ingericht, ruim en voelt heel fijn en gastvrij. Het café en de biertuin van Chieri zijn ook zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Het eten en drinken en het gratis Japanse ontbijt waren heerlijk. En als je nog authentieke Japanse souvenirs zoekt zijn die hier ook te vinden. Al met al een perfecte plek om even tot rust te komen na het bezoeken van de drukke steden als Kyoto en Osaka.

John is one of the best host I’ve ever met at Airbnb. He is very friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic. He and his wife are very nice. I also love his dogs. They are very cute.

Mike的民宿在常滑站附近，开车的话只需要5min，但走路可能要20min，交通比较方便很靠近名古屋中部机场，周围有便利店和一些小餐厅，整体上非常安静很少人，甚至飞机声和电车声都比较少听见。Mike非常nice，回复很快很及时，当我们晚上来到车站他已经在车站站着等我们了（依旧难忘他在车站向我们挥手的场景），帮我们提行李上下车，在房间里跟我们介绍房间浴室和吃东西的地方，因连住两天于是帮我们升级了一个大一点的房间! 他和妻子都很热情可爱，很欢迎我们来住，热情待客。浴室很大热水也很舒服。早餐的时候给我们每天早上准备一人两个水煮蛋，一大袋面包，酸奶之类的，还有小零食，意外很好吃~~最后一天我们舍不得走，早上mike带我们在海边转了一圈，看了一下名古屋的海，天气好好海很蓝。车站附近有很可爱的招财猫和陶瓷口散步道，非常适合慢下来逛街~喜欢这个民宿，感谢Mike和妻子对我们的照顾~希望之后也能再回来~
