It's amazing, a huge lake it's really beautiful and not too far away from Varkala, and if you anyway want to stay away from hustle and bustle, I can highly recommend to stay here for everyone who wants a peaceful stay to really relax and come into a state of serenity within. Vini’s Farm is a 2-acre island with uninterrupted views of the Ashtamudi Lake on one side and the Kallada River on the other. It is about 10 mins. by boat from the main land.Vini’s Farm has one wood house on a stilt with two bedrooms with bath attached. Inclusions-You get whole island to yourself with private chef. Most of our food is from in and around the island, Kerala cuisine. Ideally for couple or two known couples or for a family.Extra bed can be provided upon request with a charge .

We had the privilege of being the first clients to book this property for Christmas eve and I'm happy to say it was worth the wait. The location was fantastic being near the Ashtamudi river side, offering easy access to local attractions even while being in a peaceful and scenic area. The in-house amenities were top-notch, making the entire experience incredibly comfortable and we felt right at home. One of the highlights was the homemade breakfast, which was absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day. Additionally, the there is an option for lunch and dinner too. There are all facilities to make your own food also if need be and access to Swiggy/Zomato/Instamart is also there. There is a caretaker who is always available for any assistance and the Owner Vinod is also very amicable and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay in Kollam city!

We can only give 5 stars on every count - I wish we could give more. Binduraj is a kind, thoughtful and interesting soul and his hospitality was boundless! He showed us round the stunning island, delivered us the most delicious food, and allowed us to check in SO early (even coming to pick us up in his boat at 6am). This was easily one of the best Air BnB experiences I’ve had - the village was amazing, the backwaters beautiful. We even ventured out in his kayak! Could not recommend more.

I had a wonderful stay at Griffith's house! The room was peaceful, neat, and impeccably clean, making for a very comfortable experience. The host and his family were incredibly humble, warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. He was kind enough to drop me at my office the next morning, which was a thoughtful gesture. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast they served. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homely and comfortable stay!

“A Hidden Gem by the River!” Absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful wooden pod right in front of the river. The location is serene, offering stunning views and a peaceful ambiance. Waking up to the sound of flowing water and birds chirping was a refreshing experience. The pod itself was cozy, well-maintained, and had a warm, rustic charm. A special mention to Sunaina, the owner, who was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Could not have asked for a better place to live in Varkala! Even wanted to extend our trip for what the residency offered. All in all, a 10/10 on hospitality! They arranged scooters on rental, gave local recommendations, and arranged everything we asked for!! The bathrooms were squeaky clean too! Highly recommended!
