Apartment vacation rentals in Mugnano, Lucca

We loved the property, great location for the local bars and a short walk (isn't everywhere in Lucca!) to the wall and to restaurants, sights and the Anfiteatro. Perfectly clean and in great condition, we enjoyed the stay and felt 'at home' here. Carla's a perfect host and provided help and guidance as required. There's a lift (elevator), if you'd walked too much during the day, and everything you'll need for a pre aperitivo drink on the balcony. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay and will be back!

A fabulous apartment, within an easy walk from the train or bus station. It contained everything we needed for our stay. The location is perfect for walking the walls and exploring Lucca.

Jacopo's place was beautiful with lots of gorgeous things on display on the shelves. The kitchen was well equipped, (I even had a tea pot for my loose leaf tea) the bed was large and comfy and although the shower room was small, it was fine for us. Very stylish apartment that was very quiet for its location right on Piazza San Romana opposite the old deconsecrated church which now holds performances. Jacopo left us the card for recycling and some water and coffee when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again, as it's the perfect place for summer, but perhaps less in winter as it suffers from damp. Lucca itself is also gorgeous and the flowers were blooming everywhere, so it smelled amazing!

Our stay in gaias beautiful apartment was fantastic. Gaia was very friendly and helpful, her apartment was immaculate and so comfy. Gaia left us some lovely breakfast cakes, she was very accommodating and let us check out late. We had a wonderful time. Will definitely return.

This apartment was a welcome surprise....clean, close to transport and a quiet oasis close to the city walls. Paola and John met us outside the apartment and showed us how everything worked. They were the extremely friendly, communication was excellent throughout the process, and we were allowed to book in earlier than stated. There was plenty of useful information available in the apartment as regards things to see and do in Lucca, as well as recommendations for restaurants. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone visiting Lucca.

This was our second stay. We really like this apartment. It is a great location. Not too far from anything but peaceful. Also comfortable and well equipped. The terrace is wonderful. It is the perfect spot for an extended stay.

WOW! This is the absolute best Airbnb we have ever stayed in!!! It’s perfect in every way: Picturesque kitchen, two amazing bathrooms (excellent water pressure in the shower!), stunning views with peaceful bird noises from the kitchen windows, and the BEST sleeping setup with comfy bed and both air conditioner and a fan (love the white noise for sleeping). We did not want to leave this magical home!!! Federica & Luca really have thought of everything a guest could want or need! They were so accommodating (let us check in early even!) and provided great recommendations. We will absolutely be back to this gem of an Airbnb!!!

I stayed in this place from 20 April to 23 May (had to book separately). I love this place and feel at home there (stayed many times before). The garden is a definite highlight! There was more noise from neighbours in the building this time than on previous stays, as could happen in any apartment condo. The hosts obviously have no control over that but google translate helped me speak to the worst offender and he changed his ways 😊

This was a fantastic stay in a great location, right in the heart of the city center of Lucca. The apartment matched the description perfectly. It was especially convenient for anyone studying at LIS (Lucca Italian School). The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even assisting with luggage on both arrival and departure. The host was also very responsive whenever needed. The balcony was a big plus - as you are on the third floor, but you can step outside any time. We really enjoyed the birds outside. This place is highly recommended, and we would stay again the future.

Wonderful place and host! Was glad to spend our time in Lucca here and wish we could have stayed longer. Great location and the kitchen is well set up for cooking. There was even a fan available to help move the AC around- which was much appreciated as we were in a heat wave. Host was responsive and hospitable. Hope to visit again!

We were warmly welcomed by our host when we arrived at the parking lot in front of Casa Eva. She took us to the cool (in many senses) apartment: the airco made it feel like heaven on such a hot day, and the furnishings looked cool (and new) as well. The place was cosy, well-equipped and superclean. The garden was small but perfect. We felt immediately at home. In addition, the apartment is not far from Lucca, which you could even reach on foot if you wanted to, and close to supermarkets. There was a reserved space for our car on the closed-off parking lot. Bonus: how cool the apartment got when using the airconditioning, and the supremely equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave, a large fridge etc.). Also, it was nice that the window shutters completely darken the rooms at night, so it's much easier to sleep (long if you want to). I am sure we will return to Casa Eva one day.

Just a wonderful environment in and out of the castle! Our hosts were very helpful as they gave us local tips on food, travels, etc. Grazie!!

If you are staying in Lucca and have the chance to stay at Pablo and Paula’s place - take advantage of the opportunity! The location is amazing- right in the old city - close to restaurants , shopping and historical sites. The apartment is beautiful- designed thoughtfully and artistically. Everything one might need has been provided and Paula is available for dinner suggestions and to meet any additional requests.

Wonderful location in the heart of Lucca. The view of the amphitheatre is incredible! We stayed for two nights for a wedding and had everything we needed. The noise wasn’t an issue for us and we had a 9 year old who said it was the best sleep he’s ever had 😅 the hammock is a lovely touch. As the other reviews say, the stairs are steep and we did struggle slightly with a large suitcase but that was to be expected. Overall a lovely stay 🙂

We had a great time in this beautiful Airbnb. It is very centrally located overlooking a beautiful square. The accommodation offers everything you need and Georgia is a very nice and helpful host. I would recommend the AirBnB anytime and book again.

Franco was the best host we’ve ever had! He was very polite and helpful the whole stay. He organized a pasta cooking class and even dropped one of the guests to the airport. The house was amazing, especially the pool area. All in all we would absolutely recommend this place and host!

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 week stay in Helene’s apartment! It was well located and easy to get to shopping, restaurants, groceries, etc. It was also well located for day trips throughout Tuscany - by train and through private tours we booked. Helene was very responsive throughout the entire process. Tania coordinated the details for our arrival. Nicole met us and gave us a quick tour of the apartment as well as recommendations for grocery stores and sightseeing. She was also very responsive to needs and questions we had throughout our stay. A true home away from home! Our stay at the Lemon Villa was hands-down our favorite of the entire trip. The villa had everything we needed and more—it truly felt like a home away from home. It was cozy, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The views of northern Tuscany were absolutely breathtaking, and the jacuzzi was the perfect way to unwind after long days of exploring. Special thanks to Emanuela and her wonderful assistant, who were beyond accommodating and made us feel so welcomed. Their warmth and attention to detail made all the difference. We’d return in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay in Francesca's beautiful, idyllic cottage surrounded by forest. Francesca is a super nice host with lots of helpful tips on activities or restaurants. We felt very, very comfortable. Everything was as described, actually much, much better. ☺️ We will be happy to come back!

We liked the very nice place from the first moment. The pool was large and very beautiful and it was very quiet and relaxing. Unfortunately, we could not use the pool very often as the weather was not so nice and the pool was already too cold in September. But for that, the point of view of the accommodation is really ideal for visits to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Not far from the property is Montecarlo (a beautiful place) that you should have seen. All around a place that we highly recommend.

Highly recommend staying here. It’s a beautiful little apartment with very large outdoor roof space for dining, lounging etc. very clean. Walking distance to all of lucca.
