Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mount Washington

Wendy's place was awesome! My family had a great time staying here for a week in late March, and found the place to be very comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. It was really nice to have a fully-stocked kitchen - even niche items like a cake mixer and vegetable steamer were available (indeed - baking cakes and steaming broccoli are both things we are known to do while on holiday 🙂). My kids also loved playing with the cool toys in the treasure chest in the main room, and picking out new books to read as bedtime stories from the shelves in their room upstairs. I would highly recommend this as a great accommodation for families on a Vancouver Island holiday.

It is an excellent option for your stay at Mt. Washington! We stayed during spring break, and the pool right across from the unit wasn't busy. The kids had a great time. Thanks, Barb!

We had a great time at Paul's place, private and peaceful. Watched the stars from the hot tub and sunset from divers rock (quick walk). The snorkeling around divers rock is fantastic at low tide, provided the ocean chill doesn't take you out too fast! The yurt was a really neat experience, well insulated and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Edward & Kira were awesome host with a beautiful home. Such a peaceful and relaxing spot. Great views in a great neighborhood. Edward & Kira were very responsive and when the electricity went out (which happens frequently on Cortes)- they were at the house preparing the generator before we even knew we didn't have electricity. It was a great experience all around.

Awesome little cabin by the beach, the photos and description are accurate and well aligned. We loved gazing out over the ocean and mountains, the grassy yard area was so lovely to have for our fur baby. Beach access was just a few steps away. And of course the hot tub was awesome to enjoy the views from too. The beds and linens were very comfortable and we slept great. You can hear some noise from the road but knowing Campbell River layout we expected this and it didn’t detract from our stay and at night it’s not much. Willow Point is just a few min walk away and has a small grocery store, restaurant, coffee shop and bakery. We were very comfortable and happy here and would absolutely stay again if in the area.

Had a nice time at Paul’s place! The space was perfect for a couple and has a great deck with a dining table, bbq and soft tub. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Loved that there was a dishwasher! Paul was very friendly and had two beautiful pups! Location is perfect for a day trip to Savary Island (close to the water taxi) and about a 15ish minute drive from Craig park (for disc golf!). We would stay here again! Thanks Paul!

Susan's place on Cortes was so beautiful and fully stocked. it felt like the perfect cabin getaway!

This place is exactly what it looks online. Beautiful view, peaceful surroundings, beside the water and a cosy cottage with everything you need. Cathy was a responsive host and we cannot wait to come back!

We only had a short stay but the space had everything we needed. Tracy was super responsive. The House was quiet and easy to get in.

This is the second time for us in this Airbnb. We loved it the first time so wanted to go back. Favourites things are the location right on the water, eagles, turkey vulture, hawks flying overhead. Dolphins out front. Cruise ships sailing by. Kitchen is fantastic. Could cook Thanksgiving dinner there it is so well equipped. We are on a four stop tour, staying at airbnb’s at each location. We should have planned more days here!

Everything was great! Bob was a fantastic host and the suite was very well equipped.

A great place to stay while exploring Quadra. A beautiful setting in the woods, very private and quiet place to unwind for a few days

We had a fabulous 3 days in June at Astrid's beachfront cottage. The views are really the only thing that matters! It was hard to tear ourselves away. The location is very quiet but very close to lots of things to do on Quadra Island. The cottage is very quaint and well stocked with everything one needs. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure and bathroom was great. Thank you!

We had great time staying at Taren's place. The place was spacious and well thought out and felt bigger than the pictures made it look. Plenty to entertain the kids with - games, toys, Wii, DVDs. Taren was quick to respond to questions. The place was initially tricky to locate but only because we weren't familiar with the area. We recommend using the village transportation to help with gear and then you get to enjoy the nice walk to the property. The ambience of no cars, foot traffic only is really unique and peaceful!

Thanks for having us! What a beautiful, serene environment, the dome is truly magical. Roisin is a wonderful host - kind, responsive, and helpful with many recommendations for the local area. The sauna was a welcome bonus, and we enjoyed our time greatly. One tip for future guests - don’t think it snows that much in Lund, but if so, suggest to bring an AWD or 4x4; local country roads can get a little a hairy. Thank you again Roisin!

We couldn’t recommend Romina’s place enough. Perfect location for a relaxing getaway in the beautiful Cortes Island. We felt right at home and the place was very spacious, comfortable and filled with thoughtful details. Everything was truly spotless, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the garden stunning. The space and the setting was perfect for travelling with our dogs. Romina was a fantastic host: very responsive, friendly and flexible. Will definitely stay again!!

It was a joy to spend 3 nights at Hearts Delight! The chalet is adorable and the perfect size, with two adults and a small/medium dog, there was plenty of space and the kitchenette was perfect. Leah was a fantastic host with quick responses and easy communication especially as we arrived late on the first night! It was a gorgeous area and we will be happily returning in the future!

Exquisitely stunning setting & soul-drenching experience. Saltwater Farm is nourishing in every sense & Cortes island is soulfully loved by the locals. This is a place to touch, enter & experience beauty & goodness. I am dreaming of my next trip back here, in any season. For solitude & love alike, Saltwater Farm is a gift of extraordinary virtue.

We had a great family mini getaway. Condo was spacious, great location and would book again.

Had a great stay! Everything about the place from cleanliness to the beautiful view was amazing. The bed was comfy and the place is perfect for two people. Tanya was always responsive when we had any questions. We saw sea lions one night too! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a cozy spot with views. Will definitly be back!

Patrick was very welcoming. Upon arrival gave us a quick run down. The property was behind beautiful and we can’t wait to return. Patrick let us know if activities happening and let us have a couple hour later to check out.

Rosanne and her partner were amazing hosts right from booking and throughout our stay. They went above and beyond. Safe & friendly neighbourhood with all amenities within walking distance. Would stay again the next time I’m in Campbell River and would highly recommend to others.

Highly recommend!! The house is stunning and the garden is equally beautiful and well maintained! It is spacious and very quiet in the forest. The beds are confortable and the house is overall very cozy. Maria is a very thoughtful host. We had a great time!

We had an amazing stay at Nikki's townhouse, it's better than described and so peaceful. Not only is the place very spacious and located perfectly, Nikki herself is an amazing and very responsive host. If you're looking for a place on Mt. Washington anytime of year this is it.
