There is no beach access from the property but we're just a short walk to the Alders Beach which offers long stretches of sand for walking, swimming and exploring tidal pools. Watch the Skiers and Snowboarders cruise past through your suite window as this studio is a true slope side suite. It is well suited for a maximum of 2 people as it is fitted with a new and comfortable Queen bed. Enjoy the comforts and amenities that the suite offers such as TV, Keurig coffee machine, mini fridge and WiFi. NOTE that no window covers are in place, bring your eye masks for sleeping.

Washington ski/bike resort and ten minutes to the Vancouver Island Music Festival site.

Please note that the suite is in the lower part of our house and is only accessible by a steep set of stairs. We ask that you restrict your noise between the hours of 10pm and 7am. Filled with artwork depicting the outstanding natural BC environment surrounds you, and can be discovered close by. Within a few minutes drive, you can be on the beach, immersed in the forest, on your way to the ski hill of Mt Washington, swimming in Comox Lake, or dipping at Nymph Falls . Good food, shopping and local arts await you. This is a great base for relaxing or outdoor adventures.

The walk-on beach is lovely, the view is breathtaking, from summer heat to winter storms, it is peaceful, serene and some days the sound of the surf, eagles and herons are all you hear. There are many excursions close by including mountain biking, skiing, fishing, boating and hiking. The Valley is nature personified and Kye Bay is a jewel - the breath of sea air in the morning is worth the visit for sure!
