Vacation rentals with a patio in Morningside, Edinburgh

Johnny was great person very proactive, the flat was easy to reach, one floor down easy access. on the right side one queen green room, the other one after that one red pinck twin bed room, onthe left side master bes room with wc. the main WC is big and full of quality supplies, there is big kitchen and upper living room.

This apartment exceeded expectations in all areas. Alison is an exceptionally friendly owner providing helpful information regarding attractions, restaurants, and even information to help those of us from the US acclimate to the area. The apartment is in an excellent area to explore both New and Old Town with an area to park a smallish vehicle. The apartment is spacious and met all of our needs and beyond. I would definitely come here again.

The apartment is fantastic. Great location, you can walk everywhere and somehow is quiet enough to rest. It’s bigger than it looks and truly comfortable. Lee was really kind and was flexible about our check in and check out time which made our trip lot easier.

We had a lovely stay at Alison's place. The apartment was exactly like in the pictures and the neighborhood was nice and quiet, walking distance from the city centre. The instructions and local tips on the app made our stay easy and enriched our holiday. Alison and Maria were great hosts, would book again!

Flat was exactly as described, well appointed, comfortable and with a great view of the waters of Leith. We found access down the 2 outside stairways to be a bit tricky for older guests and especially any travelers with a disability the surrounding area is very “ hilly” ( as is the majority of Edinburgh) . Having a washer is wonderful , but just realize there is a great toaster but no coffeemaker( there is a teakettle) and no microwave. We had a great stay and the price was terrific!!

Great location and ample space for the six of us. Many restaurants and bars nearby. Loved the outdoor space. Clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

You can tell that Fran put in a ton of thought and care into this space. Extremely clean, comfortable, and amazing location - wouldn’t have it any other way! Fran was also extremely accommodating as we did not have a flight out until late to leave our bags in the place while we continued our venture around Edinburgh. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

I had a lovely stay in Midlothian. The house was clean, peaceful, and very comfortable. It was a perfect base to explore Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The host was friendly and helpful, and everything was just as described. I truly enjoyed the stay and would love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

Cindy's place was absolutely perfect for my stay in Edinburgh. She was extremely helpful and communicative, and she provided very helpful advice/tips for exploring the city and surrounding area. Transportation was super easy without a rental car as the bus stop was right at the end of the Cul de sac, and the bus system in Edinburgh is extremely cheap, safe and efficient. The cottage was very clean and cozy, and it is located in a very nice area. Would highly recommend!

Me and my friends visited this property, and this is one of the best properties we stayed. It was so beautiful and homey. Norrane is very lovely lady. She also guide us with all nearby places and afcourse, if we are coming back to Edinburgh then definitely would like to stay here again...

A home away from home ❤️ The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I was travelling with parents and a small child - so split levels meant everyone could have their own space and a big communal area on the ground floor which was perfect for us all. Location was great. A short cab ride into town, but walkable too. Close by to Arthur’s Seat, which is a must to do while in Edinburgh. Karen and Carina are amazing hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

My family and I loved our stay at Usman’s place. We came into Edinburgh after staying in Dublin for several days near the city center which was loud and bustling. We were ready for some quiet time. The home is beautiful and located in a nice neighborhood. There was awesome walk ability at this home and we were able to get to the tram easily to go into the city and explore and see the water at the end of the line. We also easily walked to get groceries at a local convenience store. Usman was communicative and helpful. We would absolutely recommend and would stay again upon a return to Scotland.

Our booking was a very last minute family emergency situation. I was dealing with Charlotte who was absolutely brilliant. The house was made ready at only a few hours notice. The house provided everything we could possibly have needed, especially peace and comfort during a very stressful time. Communication throughout was outstanding with genuine care for our situation. Thank you so much, we appreciate everything you did for us ❤️

Charming one night stay after getting in late from the airport!

Great place to stay and easy to get to public transport for Edinburgh. Ping was a lovely host and was very responsible and gave clear instructions for an easy check in. Would reccommend!

It was just fabulous. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!! Absolutely loved it. Close to the city centre but still had a local feel with restaurants and wine bars. Just lovely.

We had wonderful three night's at this beautiful apartement which is located near the bus/tram stops from where you can go anywhere. very easy to go to/from the airport, only 30min. Communication with Tania was smooth and we got response quickly from her. The neighbourhood was really quiet and nice. the apartment was beatifully decorated and tidy.

This is a fun place to stay, in a quiet neighborhood with fairly reasonable parking options for those who are choosing to rent a car. Definitely take a look at bus routes etc, as we did not find this spot to be walkable to most highlited areas in Edinburgh. The bus was an easy 5 min walk from the space and we found it easy to navigate with Google Maps. Over all the places was very well kept, the host was fabulous. The Art in the home is ALL female paintings, books, posters etc... quirky or creepy you decide. So if you don't mind women staring you down from every window covering, painting, or poster then you'll enjoy your time in this art filled space.

This is a lovely condo in a really beautiful location on the Fife coastal path. We really enjoyed relaxing here after a busy wedding weekend in St Andrews, and we wished we could have stayed more than just one night. Probably the cleanest airbnb I have ever been to. Karen was kind enough to let us check out late. We are already hoping to return!

Kate is a wonderful host, clear and timely communication and responsive to any issues. Her place is great, clean, comfortable, and provides good separation from family areas and sleeping areas, important when traveling with three generations of family. Location was perfect and remarkably quiet.

We had a lovely stay at. Catherine's place. Everything was so inviting, very clean and comfortable. Catherine was very responsive and kind. There was a seating area outside to enjoy the countryside. She left us a lovely breakfast for each day we spent there. This included porridge, cereal, toast and homemade jams,butter and milk. She also left us a welcome package of shortbread cookies. Thank you Catherine!

This home was beautiful! The hosts were very friendly and communicative. Our party of 8 stayed for a few nights while on vacation. The rooftop balcony was a special treat, and we utilized that space daily during our stay. We were walking distance from many shops and cafes, as well as some art galleries and a board game store, which fit our family dynamic perfectly. As a note, while the listing is clear that this is a top-floor flat, we were still a bit unprepared for how many stairs there are to reach the flat itself (40+). The spiral staircase to the top floor (with the balcony) is also very rickety, although you can reach the top floor by the main apartment staircase. If stairs are an issue for anyone in your party, or you have a lot of luggage, this is a bit of a hike. Overall, we had a great experience in this apartment, and recommend it to others who are looking to visit Edinburgh.

We had a great stay at Anthony's ground floor apartment. Apartment was great and super spacious. Location was great, all the necessary things like public transport, Grocery shops and restaurant even maximum attractions of Edinburg are at walkable distance. Parking was super although we didn't require. Check-in was very smooth with clear instruction. Additionally the host was incredibly kind, helpful and responsive. Darly Primary School bus stand is just out side the campus of Society. I would highly recommend the place to stay and explore Edinburgh attractions with ease.
