Monthly Rentals in Montezuma

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Tranquility in Montezuma. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute! A ten minute walk to Upper Montezuma falls - we swam in the waterfall pool every morning and it was magical - we were the only ones there most mornings - like having your own private waterfall. Tania was super responsive and the caretakers were so sweet and helpful . We will DEFINITELY be back.

Philip and Madeline's casita is so lovely, surrounded by trees and with a beautiful sunrise. It's in the sleepy village of Cabuya - the village is walkable but a 4x4 is definitely recommended for getting around the area since there's not much going on locally. The casita is fully equipped for a few days or a few weeks - BYO groceries is advisable rather than eating out for every meal, especially as everything is closed in the village on Mondays and Tuesdays. Madeline was very helpful, especially as I had trouble finding their house at night when I first arrived. Strong wifi if you're a remote worker, otherwise simply relax.

If you’re coming to Cabuya or Montezuma stay here! Such a cozy cabin with everything you need and only a short walk to the beach with stunning sunrises. Just laying in the hammock on the front porch seeing the wildlife was one of my favourite parts of our entire trip. Yotam was super accommodating and welcoming. We’ll be back for longer next time :)
