I cannot begin to recommend Suzie’s place more highly. A beautifully situated apartment that was very comfortable and well supplied, and Suzie herself was incredibly kind and helpful. Will definitely book this stay when we’re back in Saint Emilion!

Excellent hosting for this cozy apartment in impeccably clean condition. this one is very functional where nothing is lacking. Location close to the train station, close to shops and five minutes from old Bergerac. Just a small downside "the sofa bed is not as comfortable as hoped" We would recommend this listing without hesitation, as we fell in love with it.

What a fantastically beautiful house in Libourne! Large, very stylishly decorated, clean, complete and very comfortable. Lovely bed, luxurious kitchen, nothing is missing. Even a nice courtyard garden to enjoy a drink after a day of seeing and doing a lot in the area. The hostess Jenny is very thoughtful. Highly recommended!

A beautiful slice of paradise. Natalie and Tim were the perfect hosts. Providing information pre arrival on things to do in the area, arranging a welcome buffet for our first night and making homemade pizzas by the pool for our final evening there. They were kind and welcoming throughout and thought about the details that made the holiday really relaxing. The accommodation is beautiful. The linen and bedding are luxurious and the outdoor space totally idyllic. Figs and plums from the garden at breakfast were a delightful extra with our daily delivery of croissants and baguettes. The pool area has a stunning view and a perfect spot to take in sunset. My friends and I loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.

The AirBnB is beautiful - it was as described and how it looked in the photos. It was extremely well equipped too and very well thought out. It was easy to find and Nora, the host, was on hand for an early check in luckily. It does require a car but anywhere in the area would. You could probably walk into Pellegrue but you would be walking on high speed roads without pavements. The villa has beautiful views to wake up to too. My only recommendation would be to bring a sleep mask if you personally need total blackout - the natural sunlight does peek through the shutters but the rooms are still somewhat dark (although my toddler did not wake early despite doing so at home if her room is not pitch-black). Nora was a great host! She was able to provide a second travel cot without any trouble when asked. She responded super quickly and was amenable throughout our entire stay. Would recommend and would return in the height of summer to this beautiful place.

My husband and I are frequent travelers to the region and very fond of Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, so we were pleased to find Mary’s place for the last ten days of this year’s visit. The apartment is newly renovated, nicely decorated, and pristine clean. The living area is bright and full of natural light, the kitchen is well equipped, and the beds were comfortable! I loved having a full size dining table. The apartment is centrally located, just a short walk to several bakeries and restaurants, and parking was easy. And for day trips in the region whether you are heading to Bergerac, Eymet and other bastide towns, Monbazillac, or the Gironde wine region — everything is just a short drive away. Mary was a perfect host — responsive, professional, and friendly. We highly recommend Mary’s place in Sainte-Foy-la-Grande and look forward to returning ourselves.

Cécile welcomed us very warmly in a brand new and very well-equipped accommodation. We stayed 3 wonderful months in Veronique’s house. We had our two small dogs with us and the yard was securely fenced and safe for them. The house is in a vineyard and Guilherme (Veronique’s son) frequently came to tend his vines. Guilherme is a charming young man and we looked forward to seeing him and chatting with him. Guilherme respected our privacy but we always went out to chat with him if we saw him. He also was quick to respond to any questions we had and he is a good source of information about the area. The house is stylishly decorated and has nice new furniture and beds all of which are comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. We have stayed in many rental houses for the past 8 months as we first drove across the US and then moved to France. Veronique’s house was by far the best house that we rented. So many houses had broken down uncomfortable furniture. We will cherish the good memories we have of staying in Veronique’s house! Thank you, Veronique!

This Airbnb is beautiful. Very well remodeled, clean and just in a breathtaking location. It is about a 20 minute walk from the town. We rented E bikes (recommend Lovelec, if you can find them!) and it was an easy picturesque ride. Anne-Laure was easy to contact and quick to get back to us. We really enjoyed our stay!

We loved staying at the Little White House. Before arrival, the communication was prompt and very helpful. The place is immaculate and furnished with great taste. The location is perfect, on the edge of open fields yet a short level walk to a beautiful bastide with a good selection of restaurants ( even in April when we visited). We brought a person with limited mobility and the house was ideally suited for her. Book and you will be glad that you did.

Stephanie is a very friendly host. She tells you everything you need to know for your stay and more if you like to know more. You'll need to speak French to communicate with her properly, which luckily for us, was no problem. The apartment was a great place to stay at and very clean. Libourne is a beautiful city to discover. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend others to stay at this place too!
