I was warmly welcomed by Dijana. I was very surprised by the nice apartment. It is quiet and modernly equipped. Would love to come back. All in all, it was great.

An enchanting place to stay. We enjoyed a lot with the views and the peace and quiet. The cottage was very comfortably furnished and had all the compfor. We want to visit again. Highly recommended if you like to spend time in nature.

This place is truly wonderful. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday stay. Very clean with modern amenities where needed. Beautiful decorations of historic pieces and local furnishings. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Appenzell and short drive to St.Gallen. The host is also great to work with. She is very kind, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay!

An amazing location , just up from Trogen. A lovely place to stay for a quiet stay except for the cow bells. A lovely host.

As we traveled across Switzerland it was a very good and convenient place to stay overnight

we spent almost 5 months of our lives here, and all I can say is it was an absolute pleasure and experience to have lived here, and we would definitely be back to this place that we called home.

Everything worked out great - from the request to check-out. Irene responds very quickly and welcomed us warmly. The apartment is corresponding to the description and is well equipped. The location is very quiet and the apartment even includes an outdoor seating area. We would come back back.

The surroundings and the property are very quiet and close to the center, ideal for visiting the city. The residents were also all very friendly. The apartment corresponds to the pictures, new furniture, very clean and also the kitchen offers everything necessary. I will gladly book this place again on another occasion and can recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful little apartment from which you can walk to everything important in Herisau. The amenities were great and nothing was missing. Parking spot outside the house is great.

We had a wonderful time at Susanne's place. The apartment is so lovingly furnished, a great mix of modern elements and many traditional old pieces of furniture. There was everything you could ask for: from children's dishes, to a large selection of spices, to children's toys, which Susanne even added to after we checked in. In addition, the area is the perfect starting point for numerous excursions. You can quickly reach larger towns, both by car and by train, can start hikes directly in the village or go with children to the playground, pump trail, etc. Shopping is also within walking distance. All in all it was a wonderful vacation in what has been the best Airbnb for us so far! Thank you, Susanne :)

We had a pleasant stay over Easter weekend and felt right at home. Ines's place is bright and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pots and utensils. The loft has a very low ceiling and the ladder up is quite steep, so really suited just to the young and agile. Getting into St. Gallen by car only took a few minutes.

Great host, great place, can't complain. Clean and comfy, really can't complain. Very helpful and responsive host - and there aren't a lot of them out there! Definitely going back there some time.

This studio is excellent and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. We felt right at home from the first moment, also ideal for longer stays. Whether St. Gallen or the Appenzell region, Lake Constance or the city of Zurich, from Gossau you can easily get there by public transport. We'll be back for sure.

Super great place to stay, and very nice hostess! The listing is exactly as described. Everything you need is available and nothing is missing. Should a question or concern arise, the hostess is quickly available and always very helpful. Will come again any time!

Overall, the place was very suitable. I'm used to a lot of space so coming to Europe (from Canada) there is always a bit of a sacrifice. Irene's place is very nice and has a great view but there are a few things you should know. First, it's an old boarding house with lots of stairs. You're staying on the top floor so you will have to carry your luggage up 5 flights of stairs. You have the entire space to yourself but Irene lives on the main floor. You're on the 3rd floor. There is laundry but it's in the basement and Irene charges 3 francs. Well worth it and you have pretty much exclusive access. The view is incredible and there is a little deck you can stand on and take in the view. Kitchen is new and has everything you need. Irene even left some bread, cheese, meats and yogurt out for me. The location is on a giant hill but so is most of Switzerland so nothing out of the ordinary. There is a small store up the street but most things require a vehicle to get around.
