Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

The chalet is intended to accommodate 1 person as well as to accommodate up to 8 people ,the rate is calculated according to the number of people please specify in the booking settings the number of people present during the stay The sleeping area on the ground floor (160/200 cm bed, sheets provided) is separated from the living room by blackout curtains. Upstairs a large single open room with 3 double beds ( 140/190 )

We will be happy to welcome you to this unique and quiet place, located at the foot of the ramparts, a stone's throw from the city center and access to all amenities, in the heart of the tourist district. Recently restored and equipped with all amenities, you can enjoy a real moment of relaxation with stunning views of the medieval city of Carcassonne. Occupancy is 8 people.
