Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Minnesota River

Beautiful home. Clean. Homey. Highly recommend and will always keep in mind when traveling back there to go to mall of America. Airport and mall so close. Restaurants close by. 24hr grocery store close by. It was super ideal.

Wonderful stay with our multi-generational family. There was plenty of space for everyone to have time on their own if needed and also to come together. The house was incredibly well appointed: our 6 year old was in heaven with the toys provided (including magna-tiles, legos, k-nex, kids books), foosball table, and the 'secret' passage between the bunk bed rooms) We loved the kitchen with a great layout for cooking. As you can tell from the pictures/description, it is a unique house. Guests staying there should be aware that, for example, staying in the further away bedroom means walking a few steps outside (along a covered walkway) in order to get back into the main area of the house. There is no door between the primary bathroom and bedroom and the wall ends a little bit before the ceiling in the bunkbed rooms (great for poking your head over from the top bunks, but also less private). We felt that these features add to the charm of the house and led to a more memorable stay.

Phoebes place was adorable. I can’t wait to go back! There are steep hills to fire pit area and the trail to the tiki hit where kayaks are stored is a short hike so maybe not appropriate for people with disabilities or small children. But perfect for our group of 6 adults. We absolutely loved the set up and the clean clear lake .

Clean and quiet place. Great location. Overall 5 stars. It is a lower level walkout unit, so you can sometimes hear activity from upstairs. That said, it was a great place that we would recommend. Also, once in the unit it did not feel like a lower level at all.

Some friends and I stayed at Jessica’s cottage for our annual reading retreat. The space was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It is the perfect mix of feeling cozy with plenty of space and a gorgeous view of the lake. Jessica was a great host and communicative. Whether coming together for a weekend with friends or spending a week with family, I’d definitely consider Jessica’s place again!

We had an amazing visit! The place is beautiful and we felt right at home! We caught a lot of Bass, and which made it super fun! We were so happy to be able to have our pups with us and there is also a beautiful, sweet neighbor dog that we were able to spend time with! The peaceful sounds of nature was just the serenity we needed! The hosts were also so accommodating, answering all of our questions in a quick manner! Love, love, loved it!!

Steven's place on the Lake is a hidden gem in a suburb of Minneapolis. The yards in the neighborhood are all 1 acres and on a dead end street which provided extra privacy. Even tough he lives upstairs I never really heard him. We really enjoyed all of the water foul! There are 2 beautiful swans,geese,ducks and sea gulls The patio has a table and a rocking bench. There is a dock that can be accessed by walking down stairs. Steven has literally though of everything you might need for your stay from spices to toiletries to charging ports. Communication was perfect. The shower has great water pressure and the kitchen area doubles as the laundry room. I felt like I was back in the 50s as far as how the decor goes. Keep your eyes open for lots of cool things! The only down side is a musty smell that is most noticeable upon entering.

I enjoyed every minute here! I’m from Minneapolis but was looking for a place to relax and easy access to nature. It’s the perfect staycation with miles of trails literally right outside front door. Gorgeous views of Cedar Lake from inside and an incredible kitchen to cook. Everything was quality, functional, clean and so beautiful. Hosts are very thoughtful and available next door, but it’s also private. Best airbnb I’ve ever stayed in!
