Two Private, furnished rooms available for nightly and weekly rentals in cozy 3 BR/2BA house located in a safe neighborhood a short block north of Minnehaha Creek, and two short blocks from Lake Hiawatha. The rooms are located on the main level with plenty of sunlight, and there is quick access to a full bath, linen closet, dining and living rooms, as well as the kitchen. One room has a NEW QUEEN BED, and the other has a full sized bed. I stay out of your way as much as possible, but am happy to give you any information about the area. Several other amenities included, such as: ~Porch (courtesy of HGTV's 'Decorating Cents'), patio ~Easy access to light rail station (7 blocks) and bus routes (2 blocks) ~2 short blocks to Lake Hiawatha, 6 short blocks to Lake Nokomis, and 8 blocks to Minnehaha Falls ~One short block to paved trails for walking/biking/running/cross country skiing along Minnehaha Creek ~Wireless Internet ~Newer gas cooking stove ~Off street parking (per availability), and plenty of on street parking ~Piano from the roarin' 20s ~Hardwood floors, oak buffet Pre-arrangement: ~Occasional access to "the lounge" w/ bar and turntable for your vinyl records, and for musician rehearsal space There is just an extra 10.00 for an additional person. There are two smaller rooms located on the main level with quick access to a full bath, dining and living rooms, and the kitchen. Musicians! Ask about available rehearsal space, and hosting a house concert! Price would cover all of these amenities, except a 5.00 gratuity for breakfast service. Look forward to hearing from you!

Historic B&B w/ Private Bath at Moulin Rouge House

This gorgeous Victorian home is THE PLACE to stay in Mankato! The Moulin Rouge House Bed and Breakfast was beautifully restored by the incredible hosts, Kristin and Chris. It is located in a residential downtown Mankato neighborhood and is walking distance to restaurants, bars and the Convention Center. Stay comfortably in this room with Queen bed, large private bathroom, bathrobes, A/C and TV. Continental Breakfast is included and is self-serve in the kitchen. Coffee & Tea are available.

We feel blessed and called to share our home and love for the surrounding area with access to Lower Sakatah, Tetonka and the Cannon River, a dock for fishing, and kayaks (rentals). Guests may also schedule a sunset cruise through the chain of lakes with Hosts (additional fee). The Sakatah State Park and paved Trail is near by, for biking, rollerblading, hiking, xcountry skiing and snowmobiling.

Home Share Solo Room with Breakfast

Our home is in a suburb near Minneapolis. We are near trails and two lakes. This room has a day bed made up for sleep. It's great for solo travelers. A second guest can stay in this small room with a comfortable air bed for an added charge. This room is on the first floor off of the great room - our dining room and kitchen. 15 minutes by car from Minneapolis - best of both worlds: bucolic area and close to the city! We share breakfast with guests who want it. All guests are welcome.

Since we are sharing common spaces in the house, guests must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

We had such a wonderful stay! The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, and the hosts were very accommodating. Staying in a mansion for an Airbnb rental was a unique experience, but we absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to return to Minneapolis and visit again!

Our stay with Kristin was awesome. We were welcomed by Kristin upon arrival. She was extremely friendly and gave us a guided tour of the home. Our room was impeccable and the bathroom was great. She provided us with a list of recommend restaurants that we used. We took advantage of the closeness of downtown Mankato and enjoyed a nice walk and dinner/drinks for the evening. The house was incredible. You could definitely see all the work that had been done to restore it to its former glory. Kristin and her husband did an amazing job with it. We would definitely return on the future.
