Vacation rentals with breakfast in Midlothian

A great location to visit Edinburgh from. Ru and Ian were very welcoming to their home. I enjoyed the fruit and pancakes for breakfast. The best thing about this stay was the wonderful aromas of Thai cookery. I’d love to come back to learn how to cook - and taste it!

Fiona and her home are incredible! The room is the perfect oasis and the bed is super comfortable and an actual large king size bed. The house is gorgeous and so is the yard. Fiona herself is so welcoming and kind. She is a wealth of information about things in the area. The breakfast she makes is fit for a king, with home made bread, jam, eggs from her kitchen, delicious beverages and homemade granola! Book here if you have the chance!

Elaine fue súper amable y muy atenta en todo momento. Nos sentimos como en casa, todo muy cómodo, intimo, súper bonito, el barrio es encantador y muy fácil de llegar tanto a su casa como al centro, transporte muy económico. Sus perritos encantadores!! Todo como las fotos y su descripción en el anuncio, ademas que muy servicial al tenernos desayuno y puso a nuestra disposición todo lo que había en su cocina. Es un 10 de 10. Exceptional Stay with a Wonderful Host! I recently stayed at David's Airbnb, and I can't say enough good things about the experience! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. 📍 Prime Location: The place is incredibly well-connected, making it super easy to explore the city. 🧼 Impeccably Clean: The space was spotless! You can tell the host takes great pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. Everything from the bathroom to the kitchen was sparkling, and the bed linens smelled fresh and felt luxurious. It truly felt like a home away from home. 🤗 Outstanding Hospitality: David went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They responded quickly to my questions and provided thoughtful touches like local recommendations, snacks, and drinks. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests stood out.

Susan is one of the kindest people I have met. They treated us like family. Getting there was easy. Getting inside was easy. The home is so warm and inviting and the bed was heavenly. The bus to town is 2 min walk. The pub is 3 min walk. Parking is right in front. You are in the country yet minutes from town. I can not wait to return!

Roisin was a friendly and attentive hostess, her house was nice, comfortable, clean and in an easily accessible location, I didn't get to spend much time with Roisin, but from what little I spoke with her she seemed quite cheerful and friendly, thank you very much for letting us stay in your home.

Emily and Nick's apartment in Edinburgh's Old Town, in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle and moments away from Victoria Street, is the perfect location to explore the best parts of Edinburgh. The apartment is Perfectly appointed, pristine, with beautiful views. Emily and Nick were extremely responsive and Nick met us at the apartment to give us a walkthrough and help with our luggage! Would 100% recommend this to anyone we know traveling to Edinburgh!

We had a wondeful weekend in Edinburgh and the apartment did not disappoint. The location is ideal, close enough to the main sites, but still private and quiet. Paul left some essentials in the apartment, which was much appreciated. The apartment felt bigger than on the pictures and had great touches, from original features to modernised fixtures.

What a perfect apartment, ideal for our family, we found it to be even better than the listing suggested! Spotlessly clean with great quality furniture including beds, bedding, pillows and lovely thick towels. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, our 5 year old was delighted with the little boxes of cereals and such a treat to find a Selkirk Bannock too! Would definitely stay again, we had a lovely relaxing stay

James’ place is perfect for a long stay. We had 6 nights and the apartment is well appointed, feels welcoming and homely and so close to everything you might want to see. We had a lovely stay in this beautiful city.. and the weather was sunny every day!

Our stay was very enjoyable, Johanna is a great host who provided clear instructions on getting into the flat and having the use of underground parking was very handy. The flat was very clean and tidy and close enough to walk to the old town or if required to get a bus or tram. Johanna also very kindly left us some cereal, milk and coffee for our arrival and all necessary utensils were available in the kitchen.

We loved our stay here! The location is amazing and very close to the Castle. We walked everywhere in Edinburgh; we would definitely stay here again.

David and Stephen were incredible hosts! They had lots of recommendations upon request and provided a clean, cozy space for me to rest the jet lag away. Would absolutely stay again! (Also if you need CBD balms or oils, David has his own company and it’s superb!)

Lovely place to stay—just wish I could’ve stayed longer, but it was only a short visit for a 60th birthday celebration. I’ll definitely keep it on my list for the next time I’m in Edinburgh. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings made for a perfect night’s sleep.

We loved Sinan's place, it was in a perfect location and the house really felt home. It was a beautiful home and we had a comfortable stay. I will definitely choose this on my next stay and it's highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying for three nights at Jo and Steven's lovely home on my way to the Isle of Skye. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warmth and care they put into making their guests feel welcome. My room was impeccably clean, wonderfully cozy, and provided a haven of peace and quiet after long days of exploring. Jo and Steven have thoughtfully prepared a dedicated kitchen for guests, which was both convenient and well-equipped. Their beautiful garden was a delightful retreat, perfect for enjoying sun or the fresh evening air. The location itself is serene, safe, and ideally situated for visiting both Edinburgh and St Andrews. Steven kindly recommended some excellent restaurants and must-see attractions in the area, while Jo went above and beyond by providing a lovely selection of breakfast essentials, including fresh milk, bread, cereal, and fruit. Their hospitality was truly heartfelt and made my stay all the more special. Thank you, Jo and Steven.

This is such a great place to stay, from the airport you can take the bus 100, and get down at Haymarket, from there you can walk or take another bus, Tom's place is really close to the bus stops that take you to the center and the buses go very often. The room was amazing, clean, big and comfortable, as well as the private bathroom. Tom was flexible with our check in and the communication was always great!

This location was incredibly convenient for public transport, with a bus stop right outside the entrance. There were plenty of local supermarkets nearby and the surroundings were lovely. The host( Catherine) was exceptionally kind and always ready to help. The room was spotless and well-equipped—even an EU-UK adapter was provided. Breakfast was great as well. I highly recommend this wonderful Airbnb to everyone ^_^

Super adresse quand on veut visiter Édimbourg qui est à 15 minutes en voiture. La chambre était propre, salle de bain attenante petite mais fonctionnel. Lit de bonne qualité. Et petit déjeuner super. Je recommande l'adresse !
