Just 15 minutes from the City of Edinburgh bypass, this is the perfect rural retreat with a hot tub for those that want to explore the surrounding areas. Just a stones throw away from Glenkinchie Distillery, the accommodation includes use of beautiful mature gardens in a tranquil farmland setting where wildlife is abundant. *VERY family friendly*

We had a very pleasant stay in Danielle's wonderfully furnished house and we enjoyed it very much there. Edinburgh is very accessible after about 10 minutes' walk to the stop, for example, by bus line 33 in about 35 minutes' drive. Originally we had planned to stay closer to the city - but due to the festivals taking place during our trip, this was not possible. This also ensured the very high prices, which were difficult to avoid at this time. Danielle has 5/5 points in the reviews for a reason and we are also very, very happy to recommend her. Thank you Danielle!

Had a beautiful child free stay for two days which was bliss in the most perfect surroundings. The pod was clean, modern and easy to get to from instructions given. It was well worth the drive up from Manchester and I'll definitely be recommending to friends and family. Hopefully I'll get to visit again. Thank you so much.

Amazing porters lodge, beautiful attention to detail, very comfortable. Hot tub was an absolute treat. All the facilities to cook during your stay. Perfect place to escape for a relaxing weekend with some lovely walks on the doorstep. Will absolutely be back one day!

Spacious, lovely pod with stunning views of the Pentlands. Pods are on a working farm with Highland cattle in the neighbouring field! Hosts were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast and bbq pack was simply delicious. Hot tub was brilliant and at perfect temperature when we arrived. The pod had everything needed, well equipped and spacious for family of 4 with good sized decking area and bbq which was used in the glorious weather we had during our visit. Ideal location for Glentress mountain biking and Go Ape as well as Peebles and Penicuik. Would highly recommend Patie's Hill to anyone. 10/10 We will be back!!
