Townhome vacation rentals in Mid Sussex District

This was a return visit to this lovely house. The house is bright, clean, well equipped, and not cluttered at all. The kitchen is bright and has everything you'd need. Old Town is a lovely area of Eastbourne. We are a family of four, the bedroom set up is perfect for us. There are nice playgrounds in Gildredge Park and the nearby recreation ground (i forget the name). Recommended :)

Stayed here with my Wife and Son (18 months) for 1 week and was very happy with our stay. The house is a good size and location was ideal. Graham was a very accommodating host and answered any questions we had very quickly, despite being on holiday at the time (sorry Graham). Sad we did not get to use the rear patio due to cold/wet weather but looks like a lovely spot to spend your time in the warmer months. Great stay. Will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Candy box for my hen weekend! it's a very unusual townhouse shape based over like 4 floors but every room has its own flare. we used the top bedroom as our main hang out space for 14 of us & were able to sit round the couches/table before going out on the town. On the first night there was some difficultly with the pull out sofa upstairs. The host very kindly after some messages back & forth with no success getting the pillows out came out to help as they lived very close by. Be aware when staying that a few of the beds are in the kitchen living areas so would highly recommend pre planning who goes in what room to ensure older family members get a proper bed rather than the sofa beds. Would definitely stay here again. 10-15 min walk from the train station & short walk to anything we went to that weekend.

Joanna was incredibly helpful from the moment I first enquired about the property. She was very communicative, very friendly and was accommodating throughout. She was able to offer additional support regarding the needs of my elderly parents and the property itself was lovely, clean and very close to the city centre. I highly recommend.

We loved staying there. Charlie was really approachable and was super friendly and helpful. The kitchen cupboard has some basics . The house is about 5 mins walk from the station. Just be aware there is a very short hilly walk. But honestly it’s ok.

This is a nice little place within walking distance of sea front, restaurants, Co-op just round the corner, so very convenient. Parking space is a real bonus. We have a Renault Capture and that was no problem to park. A much larger car might not be so easy. We really liked how quiet it was at night. Netflix was another bonus. All in all happy :-)

The presentation of this property is simply immaculate. Pastries and fresh flowers (and plenty more) greet you on your arrival. The attention to detail in the decor is next level. You will want Rachel to come around and do the interior decorating at your own home after seeing this. There are more sitting rooms than you will possibly be able to use. There is actually not much point to reviewing this place: all you need to know is that if you are going to Chichester and surrounds, do yourself a favour and stay here if you possibly can.

Very quiet house, as described, and very comfortable inside. Parking space was clearly marked. EV charging in local car parks, a very short walk away. Would stay again.

We had a great stay in Chichester in this lovely town house. Although it’s right on the road, the road is fairly quiet at night so did not disturb us (we have a baby too!) The house is beautiful and in a fantastic location right on the canal where we enjoyed a lovely evening walk. Tom was a great host and responded quickly to any questions. Would stay again. Thankyou!

We had a nice stay. The house is located only 10 minutes walk away from the center with all the nice reviews and bars. It was a little bit too small for 4 adults and 2 kids but overall comfortable enough. Sebastian responded in seconds to all our inquiries. Thank you!

Roz was kind and helpful. She told us of events in the area and provided us with helpful information. The kitchen was stocked with treats and snacks on arrival. We had eight people stay and the house accommodated us all nicely.

Truly one of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in, everything was so well thought out. The house has everything you and more. The bedrooms are really cute, each having their own theme and super comfy. The host was amazing from day 1, we got a welcome pack that had everything we needed and he was there to greet us with cake and fizz as it was my birthday. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. I even got a message from everyone one I came with, to say thank you to the host!!

From start to finish Taryn was an excellent communicator and we felt we could ask anything and it would never be too much trouble. The house itself exceeded our expectations, it was very spacious, clean and the extension on the kitchen gives the house a premium feel. The house was easy to find, perfect parking for two cars and in an excellent location. Less than a minutes walk you find yourself by the marina on the way to restaurants and more stunning views of the Quay. There is also a retail park around 5 minutes walk from the house which is very convenient. Overall we had a great experience which exceeded expectations and couldn’t have picked a better property or location to stay in.

Nice cosy home. Basement kitchen and living area was a nice space to retreat to at the end of the day - perfect location for us, easy walk to the north lanes - fantastic Japanese/korean place to eat O’shio a few minutes walk away and couple of pubs at the end of the street. We visited in Feb so was cold and didn’t use the outdoor space - but would have made a nice spot to chill out in when warmer - Mathew was good, quick to respond with info etc - check-in etc all very nice easy. Would stay again next time we back in the uk/brighton!

Great location. We didn’t use the car once which is the sign of a good break. We managed to find a parking space less than 1 minute walk away which was ideal. House was lovely. Beds comfy and felt like home after a few days. Loved all the houseplants too. We didn’t use the garden or balcony as it was cold but would be great in warmer months. Pumpkin was well behaved too. We felt right at home in this great split-level home. The sunny roof terrace and sea view from some windows was a real bonus. Everything was immaculate and super practical - thank you for a great base in Brighton and Hove.

Fantastic Airbnb One of the best we’ve stayed in! So clean and spacious. Having 2 bathrooms was amazing! Lots of breakfast things left for us which was appreciated!! More than most places! Really good value and we will definitely come back!!! So close to walk into Chichester centre which has really regenerated since our last visit just after Covid. Loved our stay.
