Beach house vacation rentals in Merida

Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

The house was really nice, there were a few bugs in the kitchen area but everything was fine, clean and spacious rooms, everything was really good, the only drawback we had was the entrance key, it was very old and difficult to open and close the house, but other than that everything was very good

What a lovely place. Really by the sea where you could also swim really spacious, wonderfully quiet. Recommended! There were two of us but could have sat here quietly with all our children. Viejo Bar is a nice place nearby (2,5 km) where there is regular live music. Supermarket where you can really get groceries (My Marketplace) is a 20 minute walk. Smaller for drinks and chips are closer. We consciously chose not to rent a car and was easy to do with Ubers. We'd love to come back!

The house is super spacious and nice in addition to clean!, the beautiful beach and the area very quiet!!... Tony is very kind and always attentive. And the village is very close to buy anything. We were very comfortable!!

Jose was super responsive and was quick to help us with any issues. And the beach and the house were even better than the pictures. We would absolutely visit again.

A wonderful house, out of the way, great facilities, slightly odd (but unthreatening) neghborhood. Excellent chef and masseuse recommendations. Though pool cleaned once weekly, becsuse of gulls would have preferred a working filter system. Glad there was no television; it enhanced the peaceful nature of our stay. I’d definitely return!

Lovely place! Immaculately clean. Roomy, beautifully decorated, modern amenities, and right across the street from the beach. We feel asleep every night to the breeze and sounds of the waves. What more could you ask for! I will definitely return!

The house is an amazing place. We went with my one-year-old son and it was an amazing stay as the place was perfectly adapted for children and full of details to entertain and keep them safe, from dishes and cutlery for them to safety rails for the bed. The house is fully equipped and on a dream beach. Napoleon was an incredible host and always attentive to any detail.

The house is just as shown in the photos, very beautiful and very comfortable for the whole family. The beach is really very private, you have to take into account wearing water shoes because it has a lot of shells The pool is very comfortable and the internet is as fast as mentioned in the description Monica was super nice, attentive and answered all questions It is definitely a very nice place if you want to spend quiet days with the family. It is 25 minutes from Progreso and a couple of kilometers away there are Oxxos

Juan's house is a very pleasant and comfortable, quiet and safe place. A fascinating view. A very suitable room layout. Highly recommended to enjoy a few days of rest. You feel like spending a new year in that paradise.

This friendly host was fabulous! Response time was often under 15 minutes. Answered all questions and even found us a home cook who brought in a few of our meals. The 2-floor townhouse was clean and the large shared swimming pool was pristine clean and had lots of shaded seating and it’s beautifully landscaped. The beds were comfortable and there are 3 bathrooms. A great place for 2 couples or a family to rent. Nearby Progresso was great to drive to for groceries and stroll the boardwalk. We loved the Airbnb, it has everything you need, the beds are delicious. The photos are just like the place. We had a problem opening the door at 10pm and they solved it for us in less than 10min We were fascinated, it's totally worth it
