I definitely recommend it 100%, it is super comfortable very well equipped, I was 15 days, my daughter took classes there, I took it and made it home office again and I felt right at home, surely we will return, one more advantage is that a few steps away the trucks that take you downtown to Montejo, we loved the place!

We literally felt right at home. 1 older adult and two adults. Always super attentive. If you see it available, book it is worth the investment completely. We went 4 days 🥰

The place is simple but meets your needs, in terms of value for money it is very good, it was tidy and clean, the host was always aware of the needs or problems that could arise. I went with my family and everything was great. The place is very quiet to rest.

Malu and her husband are wonderful people, with adorable kindness and thoughtfulness. On the way to Merida I sprained my ankle and as soon as I arrived Malu gave me a cream for bruises, a recliner chair and a walker, advised a clinic and accompanied my husband to the pharmacy etc… In short, largely thanks to their good care I was able to resume almost normal visits (with a boot) Otherwise the neighborhood is very quiet and around the house an Oxxo, a fruit shop, a bakery. With a taxi for 2.50 euros or 59 pesos you are on the Central Plaza of Merida Merida is beautiful, so much to see, the Mexicans are very nice to tourists, whether in Merida, Valladolid, Tulum, Playa del Carmen. Everywhere we went we were informed very kindly and without ulterior motive. But a very special thank you to Malu our charismatic hostess whom I highly recommend and who deserves the title of Super Host

We stayed for 9 nights. Every detail has been attended to resulting in a curated a guest experience a cut above the rest. The pool and enchanting garden have mix of comfortable sunny or shaded seating. Our room was spacious yet homey. An excellent mattress, natural fibre linens, light-blocking curtains, as well as natural insect repellant ensured a great sleep every night. The bathroom had a privacy door and toiletries scented with essential oils. Fluffy towels, facecloths, and even a bath mat added a luxurious touch beyond what one sees in accommodations with a similar price point. The air conditioning and the ceiling fan operate quietly and the fridge is a bonus for keeping drinks cold or takeout fresh. Breakfast is copious and fresh with attractive plating and homemade jams and condiments. The best part of staying at Casa Magu was meeting Mario and Rene. They were welcoming, helpful and generous of their time. We will definitely return and would recommend Casa Magu to anyone.

Cinthya is a great host, the place is small but clean and comfortable. The location and the service are totally worth it

wow! I loved staying at Casa Xtakay. The cottage has everything you need. Sophia and Kei are very friendly and easy to communicate with. I walked through many places with ease and they let me borrow a bus card that was also very easy to navigate. Kei also cooked a riquisimo breakfast. the german market is cerquita and has many fresh fruits and vegetables if they like to cook at home.

Excellent place, I recommend it quite a lot, the pool is very nice, the stay on the patio,the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is clean, with hot water, easy access, you feel very safe at home!!! I thank Pau and his beautiful family for the always attentive attention!!! I hope to return soon!!!

We stayed a little more than a week in Mara's place, we were interested in that the place looked quite intimate and so it was , when the location on the map was not the same but Mara had already sent us the coordinates of the place which helped us get exactly from the apartment,the place was very spacious and we had the opportunity to cook a lot , what I was most worried about was the safety of the area since we rented a car, we left the car outside the house during the stay and there was no problem, we also had an opportunity to go to several places walking and we were able to arrive without any problem, the apartment was impeccable and very clean at all times , the pool and common areas always quiet in the same way , we were glad to have chosen such a nice place, we could not have chosen something better since there were several delicious restaurants around it!

A very pleasant and comfortable stay, I would definitely come back another time.

We loved our stay at Casa Joa. Vance (an American) and his Cuban wife Ana are gracious hosts with an absolutely beautiful home filled with fine art and furnishings. We had the entire upstairs suite, which was huge with several different rooms all beautifully decorated. Vance and Ana share their large home with a few other warm, lovely family members and a few friendly pets. So nice. Ana’s sister is an excellent cook and offers custom breakfasts for a reasonable charge. Well worth it. The home is an easy walk to Plaza Grande, Calle 47 (Merida’s new restaurant row), and several other plazas and restaurants. I highly recommend Tacos de Unión, a simple but delicious restaurant a block away. Try the mushroom and guacamole tacos (you’re welcome). Overall, an excellent stay in a lovely completely renovated colonial home with wonderful people in a great location. What’s not to like.

Nice place to enjoy Merida. Located a few blocks from Avenida Montejo, Parque de la Plancha and with very nice restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed our stay at Gustavo's house.

Great spot, very central to middle of town/restaurants. Nice peaceful spot, it's a shared common space and kitchen with other Airbnb guests with private rooms. The shared outdoor seating area and pool are a perfect spot for an afternoon siesta to beat the heat! Would recommend!

The pictures don’t do this place justice (in the best way)! So so beautiful. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Pepe and Jose Luis were very welcoming and great hosts. They went above and beyond during our stay and we would highly recommend this place to anyone. The beds very nice, and the pillows were comfortable. The rooms didn’t get too hot even without AC and the fan thats provided. They welcomed our little pup and made her feel comfortable as well. 10/10 for us. We would stay there again. The breakfast was also delicious and the pool area was unique and serene.

Christine’s casita is truly a blessing! Located in a super safe and peaceful neighborhood of Mérida, it immediately feels like a holiday retreat. The beautiful garden and swimming pool create such a relaxing atmosphere — the perfect place to unwind. Christine is a charming and thoughtful host. We really enjoyed spending time with her, and she had so many great local recommendations ready for us. She was always incredibly responsive and proactive on WA, even once we were out and about in the city. One small but deeply appreciated detail: Christine provides a 15L container of drinkable water in her casita — such a thoughtful touch that made a real difference. I’ve never had such a considerate host before and really wanted to highlight that. We’d be so happy to return if we ever come back to Mérida, and we would absolutely recommend Christine’s casita to any traveler looking for a quiet, stunning, and peaceful place to stay.
