Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Meramec River

The house was absolutely lovely! Kellie was wonderful, and very responsive. Checked out and met the cleaning who was very nice and friendly as well! 100/10 recommend The Jewel!

This was my 2nd time staying at Mark's place when I come to my hometown from Texas to meet for family events. Mark was very nice and understanding when too many family members came by. We communicated very professionally with one another and problem.was solved. I would always come to Mark's place when I come home. Very nice Host and great property.

This cute place on Dewey ave. couldn't have been better. Everything was so clean and fresh. Just a sweet place to stay and it fit our family perfectly. Thank you Katie for your timely attention to our situation as well. This just maybe our stay next year when we come to attend the annual Missouri scripturefest in Park Hills.

I enjoyed my short stay at Michele's place at Green Acres! The converted bunkhouse is beautifully decorated and had everything I needed for my stay. The space was super clean and cozy. I slept very well! It is easy to find and conveniently located close to Rolla.

Great and comfortable place to stay, exactly as described, and really kind host! Couldn’t hear upstairs neighbors at all while we were there. Hopefully we will be able to stay here again in the future!

We had 8 adults and 5 children that stayed 4 days here. I was amazed at all the toys, games and other activities that was there for them. Everything was just as described. My family loved the house. Felt like home, grandmas house with love . Being a grandmother myself, it was like we were visiting a family member.

A wonderful home that had everything we needed. Host was responsive and helpful. It’s easy to park in and a safe feeling neighborhood within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and Tower Grove Park. An excellent stay.

I really appreciated staying at Floyd's place. It was cute and comfortable. The only surprise was the layout - the second bedroom was only accessible via the first bedroom. It was very hard to find a place with a bedroom that had 2 single beds and this definitely fit the bill. But Floyd was very accommodating and responsive when we needed the heat turned up he did it right away. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was exactly as described in photos , very clean , cozy , & quiet and walkable to most amenities needed . If given the opportunity i would definitely stay here again

This was an absolute favorite and we will definitely return each time we come back to st. Charles to visit family. I loved the charm, the amenities, how peaceful and safe the location was. The bed was extremely comfortable. Five stars!!!

This is a beautiful old style apartment in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The apartment consists of the entire upstairs second floor of a the house. It's spacious and comfortable, and feels like home from the moment you arrive. There is a living room, dining room, large bedroom, large kitchen and bathroom - all equipped with every thing you might need. It is a space full of character, with many of the the original features of the house retained, but all modern conveniences too. The bathroom and kitchen were particularly well provided for, with toiletries, towels, cookies, coffee, etc Pam met us when we arrived, and we spoke with her several times during our stay. She is warm and welcoming and likes to make sure her guests are comfortable. She even gave us a gift of a box of strawberries which she had bought in the local farmers market that morning, and showed us around her beautiful garden. We loved our stay here, and hope to return when we are visiting family in St Louis.

This place was wonderful! Very peaceful in a nice area. Property was very clean and thought out. Host did a great job of suppling amenities. We even caught some fish from their pond!! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, but still close enough to see the local attractions.

My fiancé and I enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was nice to be staying in a cabin and having a little get away while visiting family in Waterloo. Rika responded very quickly and is very communicative which I love that. Overall, we love it and will want to come back and stay at the cabin when visiting family.

My family (My wife, I, and three children ages 1-6) had a great relaxing time. The trail up to the ridge was enjoyed immensely as we hiked up there several times with all the kids and my boys enjoyed exploring in the woods. The fire pit was great as well.

Felt like a home away from home!! Everything was clean and organized. It was absolutely beautiful and the decor and mounts were amazing! My husband and I thought the hornets nest in the master bedroom was was a great touch!! 10/10!!

My friends and I came here for a much needed weekend to relax and recharge, and this place was absolutely perfect for that! The property is beautiful and quiet, the fire pit is wonderful and well-appointed, the inside is very spacious and I loved the cabin theme, and had lots of nice little touches - a personal welcome sign, s’more’s supplies, and more. We felt very peaceful here. It’s close to the meramec caverns and river as well which is great!

This is a lovely location for a vacation. It is a bit distant from the city, but we had a great time there. It has a large lot and provides excellent privacy. There are three levels, including the basement, and we can be out from each level easily. Robyn is very attentive and accommodating. We needed a large pan because we intended to cook spaghetti. We asked Robyn, and she brought a few, but they were still small. To our surprise, she went to the nearest town to buy a brand new one. One of the TVs was not connecting, and she offered to bring a new TV. She is truly kind. Additionally, she arranged free wood and fuel for the firepit in the backyard. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a lot of fun with the kids. we would be fine with staying there again.

We loved our stay in the cabin - very peaceful and comfortable and well-equipped. Word of warning that the kitchen has plenty of utensils, dishes, etc, but is missing a few items we hoped for - cooking oil and a big pasta pot, for example. We figured things out and didn’t consider it a huge drawback, but thought it would be useful for people to know when they’re grocery shopping! We loved having the fire pit for some camping-style dinners.

Loved the place and hope to stay again someday down the road! Unique layout. Peaceful spaces, inside and outside. Comfy bed!
