Cabin vacation rentals in Meramec River

We spent a week in the St Louis area, but wanted one night to get away from the city and this place went above and beyond our expectations. My kids loved the creek and bonfire at night. Probably the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at!

The place was nice and had a wonderful view of the lake. It has a screened in porch to hang out in. We went the week before it was fully staffed so most activities and meals were not available to us - which we were not aware of before arriving. There were still enough things to do. Manager was kind and accommodating and took time to give us a boat ride. We had awful storms one night and they had a good safety plan and management was helpful. Pros: had plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, towels. The queen bed was comfy and full size kitchen equipment was nice to have. Cons: the bunk beds are not great for adults with pain/back issues. There was no extra bedding (but we didn’t ask for any so that may be an option). Roads are rutted out so my low profile car had come issues driving in and out. We would definitely go back!

My family stayed for my son’s 13th birthday. We all love to fish and be outside when we can . We have rented a local fishing cabin three years now for his birthday. This is by far the best local fishing getaway. We caught so many fish and had so much fun . The goats are definitely amazing too .

We stayed at the Boathouse, a nice, roomy cabin in the woods over the river. It's a beautiful spot! The Jim Messina concert was excellent, and the dinner was too! Some of the included amenities were missing and needed to be restocked. The sunroom porch was a fun spot to hang out for the three days of rain. We will be back.

My daughter and I just needed some peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. The cabin was so nice altho we spent most of out time on the deck overlooking the water and wooded area. Lots of great places to eat. We traveled the few miles to Cuba, Mo to eat, go to Walmart, and go to the antique malls. There is a nice little place to eat in Leasburg called Skippy's and the food is great and staff so friendly. There is also a Dollar Market in Leasburg that has anything you might need. We stayed a week but could have stayed there forever!! We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to just get away and decompress.

James and his wife are awesome host with a beautiful place! I was here for work and will be bringing my family back!!! Thank you guys for always answering our calls! Helpful in every way!

My friends and I came here for a much needed weekend to relax and recharge, and this place was absolutely perfect for that! The property is beautiful and quiet, the fire pit is wonderful and well-appointed, the inside is very spacious and I loved the cabin theme, and had lots of nice little touches - a personal welcome sign, s’more’s supplies, and more. We felt very peaceful here. It’s close to the meramec caverns and river as well which is great!

Jeff and Sally's place is so lovely and unbelievably PEACEFUL! We spent most of our time on the beautiful 10 foot deep covered porch taking in the playful songbirds and lake teaming with fish! The sunset over the lake was just beautiful! My husband happily caught lots of fish. We drove down to the river (4-wheel drive required). The beach was large with gravel and surprisingly white sand! Lots of clam shells too. The cabin is cozy - nicely decorated, very new and well built with quality furnishings and supplies (plenty for 2 people). Also remarkably clean and well maintained! Jeff and Sally were so nice! We mostly communicated with Jeff who couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating! Fantastic host! We already can't wait to come back and kayak/float once my elbow heals and I can paddle again! Thanks so much Jeff and Sally. We'll always remember this trip as one of our favorites!

It was a perfect weekend stay. I have absolutely negative to say about the cabin or our time in the area. 10:10 would rent again in a heartbeat. cute and cozy. thank you for sharing and providing affordable air bnb stays.

Felt like a home away from home!! Everything was clean and organized. It was absolutely beautiful and the decor and mounts were amazing! My husband and I thought the hornets nest in the master bedroom was was a great touch!! 10/10!!

We had a lovely girls weekend at Cabin A. It was cozy, comfy and the surroundings were beautiful and the perfect backdrop to a restful and relaxing weekend. We will be back!

We had a great time at The Log Cabin with our group of 10! Our float was cancelled due to flooding but the private pool available made up for it!! The kitchen accommodated us all wonderfully and the appliances were great! We also enjoyed utilizing the deck / covered space. If we have the opportunity we would definitely stay here again!!

We had a large group and the place was perfect for what we needed! Look forward to visiting again next time we are in Steelville to float!

This place is a fantastic choice for anyone who wants to recreate in the area but isn’t into tent camping. We were bummed by bad weather, but it’s hard to complain when you’re watching the rain from the hot tub :) High ceilings and huge windows make the tiny house feel very spacious. Everything looked just as wonderful as the photos. Ahmar was quick to respond to any questions. It’s close to the main road but private and unlikely to be flooded out, though there is some road noise. There’s a nice yard for playing outside and my kids loved the frisbee golf hole. The blooming honeysuckle smells amazing! Thank you and we will be back!

Tim was a very responsive host and was available to answer any and all questions! The house was clean and comfortable! Only thing to note is only 1 out of 2 bathrooms have a shower but I should’ve looked at that closer before booking - but us girls made it work fine! Bonus for the pool and hot tub being EXTRA clean!! The property is beautiful and so peaceful. We went floating through Blue Springs Ranch and had a GREAT time, only about 20 minutes from the cabin. The only thing I will say is that if you want to have RiverView Ranch pick you up at the cabin for floating that has to be coordinated far in advance which I wasn’t aware of! Overall we fell in love with this cabin and will definitely be coming back (:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We celebrated our Mother’s Day here over the weekend. My mom, her husband, my husband, our daughter, Ava, and our small dog Jax. The kitchen had everything you could need. All of the bedrooms, bathrooms, and rec room were spotless. The surroundings of the house are simply beautiful. It is a short drive to the Little town of Kimswick, where they usually have many festivals, and Grant Farm, which we both enjoyed. it was a wonderful first Mother’s Day. we can’t thank Leslie enough for providing such a wonderful place to stay! The walking trails, play ground and fire pit are also a huge plus.

My boys and I truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The cabin was comfortable and well stocked with items. We were able to visit with Christina and her animals. She took a lot of time to show my boys her kittens, goats, and horses. It was a great weekend getaway for our family.

This was our second annual m tribe trip, both at this location. It fits of our needs and provides bedding, towels, kitchen needs and chairs for everyone in a big group. We love the private beach, both patios and the convenience of just walking down the hill to the beach. Also of note, each room has controls for the temp in your room and there are extra fans in the closets.

It’s a beautiful get away! You don’t realize how much you need to unplug and get away until you do! It’s peaceful with friendly neighbors, and there’s so many places you could go to fish/ hike/ kayak! We highly recommend this place. The wildlife there is so cool to see as well, we had a baby chipmunk that walked right up to us and a momma sparrow that would get pretty close! Looks just like the pictures!

We always enjoy our stay here! Perfect for a family trip way from life! Great fishing, perfect location for summer fun, the horses are so sweet, and the view is amazing!
