Cabin vacation rentals in Meeks Bay

Last minute trip was a great success! My family loves visiting Tahoe city and this location served the kids and the adults well. Lots of games and plenty of activities for family fun. Hot tub was a huge bonus! We’d definitely return to this lovely and perfectly decorated home

Great location in Tahoe - less than 10 min drive to the lake. Very close to supermarket. House was very comfortable. Bedrooms first floor. Open living space at the top with deck and 1/2 bath. House was fully equipped - including kitchen supplies, spices/cooking, cleaning, laundry, bathroom toiletries. Beds were comfortable.

The cabin is in a great spot and the layout was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the host was very responsive when we had questions. A great stay overall!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was immaculately clean — truly spotless — and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the management had gone above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Communication was excellent throughout our stay, and VRA team was both responsive and considerate. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic experience — we would definitely stay here again!

We were looking for a private, rustic, yet modern weekend retreat and we found it. The setting was great and the cabin had all the indoor and outdoor amenities we were expecting, plus an expansive deck with comfortable furniture - and a helpful bug zapper!

Nicolas’s home is excellent — clean, spacious, and very comfortable for more than just a short stay. The terrace is great for BBQ, and the shade from the acacia tree makes it perfect for breakfast outdoors. We truly appreciated that the house is pet-friendly. We had two large dogs, and they loved the small fenced area and dog door. Please clean up after your pets if you bring them too. Upstairs has several bedrooms, one with a beautiful sky and forest view. The kitchen is well-equipped (though a few more dishes would be great), laundry is available, and internet is strong. TV works well too. The host lives next door but gives you total privacy. Nicolas was always helpful and respectful. Only two small notes: the house is close to a road (not an issue for us), and we hoped the hot tub was in a more cozy location — we didn’t end up using it. Great location: close to wineries, an apple farm, shops, and gas stations. We visited Sacramento, Sonoma, Napa ,even Lake Tahoe to San Francisco

We felt very comfortable and at peace . This place was well equipped and the coffee and cocoa was a nice bonus to have! I would certainly book again.

This place is an absolute gem. The decor is stunning—thoughtfully curated with impeccable taste and attention to detail. Everything inside feels high-end, from the furniture to the finishes, making it not just a place to stay but a space to enjoy. The location is perfect, tucked away in a peaceful area yet still close to everything you’d want to explore. But the real showstopper? The backyard. It’s unreal. Our kid had the best time running around and playing freely, and the creek out back is serene and beautiful—a perfect spot to unwind with a morning coffee or evening drink. You can tell the host put real care into every corner of the home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and stylish getaway

Very cozy and quaint place. There’s a lake just at a walking distance from the house. Robert is an extremely polite and friendly host and very responsive to all questions. We have 2 dogs and Robert was so thoughtful to provide toys, poop bags and even fur combs! There’s fun board games as well. A very nice stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Lake Tahoe (30 mins only) or just chilling.

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you so much for sharing your little spot of paradise with us!

This wonderful little cabin was a great place to spend a getaway weekend with my son. The peaceful, wooded surroundings provided the relaxing backdrop I was looking for and my son was delighted with the wood burning stove. He discovered that the pine cones that were suggested as fire starters did a great job and he had a great time replenishing their supply from the woods around the cabin.

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. It accommodated everyone comfortably. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept on in any Airbnb. Kathryn was very responsive host. my family and I would absolutely stay here again.

Janet's cabin at Tahoe is a very cozy and nice place that makes you feel right at home. Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication with the housekeeping, there was a hiccup at the beginning of our stay, but Janet was very communicative, accommodating and quickly resolved the issue. While mishaps can happen, the way Janet handled it really shows what a great host she is! Otherwise, check-in was smooth as Janet gave very clear instructions, and was willing to give local recs to enhance our trip. Overall, the place was quite clean and all the amenities were well stocked! We were a party of 4 so the airbnb was spacious to us, but I'm not sure if the cabin can actually comfortably fit 16 people/children. I think 6 adults + 4 children would be a more realistic number. However, given the price and the value of this airbnb, even sharing with a small group is a steal!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as advertised, they made it easy to relax and feel at home right away. One of the biggest highlights for us was how pet-friendly it was — our dog felt just as welcome as we did, with plenty of space in the yard to run around. We did have to leave a pet deposit but it was returned right after we left. The location was also perfect — close to everything we wanted to see and do, but still quiet and peaceful at night. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Didn’t interact with host much because instructions were so clear upfront. Well suited for my group of six adults. Local market/deli/convenience store/coffee shop is a quick four minute drive away. Highlights: the pool table and seeing a bear ambling through the woods (while sitting safely on the back patio).

Lisa and Evan are great hosts. What you see is exactly what you’ll get. Their home is comfortable and located close to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend staying there.

Shen's place was perfect for our relaxing girls weekend. There were 6 of us and had plenty of space. It was as described and matched the photos exactly. Very clean as well. The hot tub was heaven each night after our long adventurous days hiking and kayaking. It was also so cool being able to walk to the nearby national forest as well. I was not ready to leave and already pining for another trip to Lake Tahoe. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Andrea’s cabin! The location was perfect, the cabin was very nice and communication was great. Would recommend!

Can’t say enough about this perfect home away from home experience 🤩 Beautiful & serene surroundings, incredibly thought out & detailed set up of every square inch of sweet Sugar Pine property that has me hooked to come back! Worth every penny and highly recommend everyone check it out- you will be beyond impressed & in awe with this beautiful abode.

We just had THE BEST stay during our ski holiday at Molly's place! First off the house is beautiful and nicely updated creating a cozy by chic hideaway in the forest of Tahoe! The layout of the home was just perfect for our family, with the rooms separated on two different wings... plenty of space and privacy for everyone! The great room in the middle was the best place to hangout! Amazing and easy to use gas fireplace... nice big TV... and awesome huge windows looking out into the forest. But the best part of all... was the hot tub! Nestled out in the forest right off the deck... we spent several nights out there as snow fell on our head... amazing! And it had a view of the lake! Molly was the best host! She was super responsive before, during, and after our stay... allowed us to have late flexible checkout, which was hugely helpful! Can't recommend enough... wish I could give this place 10 stars!

We had such a special stay at this cabin (and were so grateful Jack the dog was welcome) — the kind of place where you know countless memories have been made. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful — coordinating a last-minute date change, late checkout, and providing quick answers to questions about the private beach in Tahoma. The house is so cozy and well-equipped with everything you might need for your stay — an electric fireplace, spices, olive oil, quality soaps and cleaning supplies, and even more adventurous things like bear bells, headlamps, and an extra leash should you need those things! The sauna was a fantastic extra touch too. We spent four days and nights watching the season shift from winter to spring, with snow still on the ground, but warm days, walking around the neighborhood with coffee in hand, making dinner, waking to birdsong, and sleeping in a little (the bottom bunk was our perch). I definitely recommend this cabin and hope to visit again!
