Kid-friendly vacation rentals in McLennan County

We stayed here for a week while working on a project in Waco, and it was perfect. The place was cute, peaceful, and spotless—just what we needed after long workdays. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope it's always available whenever we travel to Waco!

In Waco for a marathon with several family members meeting there. This was a perfect family gathering place. Felt like home, kid friendly, sleeping arrangements to meet all our needs. Every amenity listed was furnished plus! Not a single need to have to run to the store for. Very clean! Easy to follow instructions for the check- and check-out. No problems at all. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to stay again.

Good place to stay outside of Waco but close to everything. Quiet and easy to get to.

We had a great time. Quiet neighborhood. Maggie is a great host and commutative . I would recommend having a long mirror in 1 of the bedrooms.

This was one of the best AirBnB experiences I’ve had. The place was super clean, all instructions were laid out and very simple. All the extras that came with the rental were much appreciated. Above all, again, I couldn’t believe how clean the home was. I would and will recommend Amanda’s place to anyone and everyone.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay -- Alexandra was great and our stay was extremely private and relaxing and allowed me to focus on my horse show competition at the Extraco Events Center (5 minutes away). The location was amazing and we couldn't believe it when we arrived to a quiet established neighborhood surrounded by trees. It was lovely to look out from the kitchen/dining/living room at the large backyard (our little dogs loved it!) and watch/listen to birds in the evening. The kitchen was large and well provisioned, the patio just lovely, and the living room was super comfortable. The bedrooms/baths were also spacious, private and quiet -- we slept very well (very important to us). Overall it was a wonderful experience and we plan on booking this location again in the future.

The Wishing House was as represented by photos- adorable and modern- so spacious and lots of little extras that made us feel at home! Great upper Deck for early evening (pre-bugs). The sound machines and earplugs were needed a few times to combat a local music venue/bar but we were thankful to have been provided solutions if we needed them. GREAT location for a trip To all things Magnolia!!!

As a first time Airbnb booking guest, we were very pleased! Clear, helpful instructions from start to finish. We loved all the added touches to the home.. it was clean, cute and comfortable. We are also very grateful for how accommodating our host(s) were. Great family time was spent together under one roof, instead of separate motel rooms. HOST/ CHECK IN / CHECK OUT: Instructions were clear. Rosanna gave us a little extra time to set up for a birthday party, and even left a gift for my 80-year-old mom with a card. The host is the sweetest! LOCATION: In the Baylor Bubble and walkable to campus. Keep in mind that you are somewhat on the unofficial Greek row here… so one night was pretty loud because we came for Sing and the kids were having fun (happy sounds, nothing crazy). The second night was totally quiet. If you are a light sleeper, just be aware. However, 11th St. is such a fun street with a lot of life, and it’s very safe. Easy to get everywhere from here. THE HOME: Upstairs unit. We loved having 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. The living room couch is so comfortable! Everything is VERY clean, but the carpet needs an update. Could also use more fresh “extras” in the kitchen & laundry. We had to buy detergent, hangers (only 3 there), and spices. OVERALL: We enjoyed our time and will be back! Rosanna is a great host!

Eric is super nice, easy to deal with. Just a normal guy not some company just making money and not caring about guests. Would recommend and definitely going to look for Eric’s places for rent around the area when I’m here. 10/10

This Lil honey hole is one of the best places in the area of Dallas/ft.worth worth the money,you get to grill and enjoy the hot tub and the peace and quiet of lake life Rodney has a sweet spot on lake Whitney thank you both for allowing us to enjoy your spot

Highly recommend staying at Heather's place. It is beautiful from the inside design/decor, clean...to the views outside! She has thought of everything, the place is warm and cozy. It is close to Magnolia and many other restaurants and shopping. Parking is easy. Heather is super responsive and helpful! When we return to Waco, we will stay here again!

Great centralized location walking distance from many great restaurants, bars and attractions. would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great stay.

We were in town visiting my son before his deployment overseas. The condo was beautiful, clean, and had everything that we needed. Coffee pods being available was a nice touch, too. The location is great, with several restaurants within walking distance.

This was a super cute place right in the perfect location close to everything. Kenya was super responsive and helpful with everything! Great stay!!

This downtown Waco loft was even better than described! It was beautifully designed, incredibly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location was perfect—just a few blocks from all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. Having assigned parking was a huge bonus and made everything so convenient. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Waco!

This is a great place to stay in Waco! It’s right next to the Dr Pepper museum and there’s lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment has beautiful furnishings and the beds were very comfy. And, most importantly, the AC worked really well and even the upstairs area was plenty cool! Thanks so much for making our stay easy and comfortable!! 😸

We loved our stay. It's a five minute walk to Magnolia, super close to restaurants and a cute bookstore, and peaceful at night. Our last night there, we sat in their camp chairs on the deck (it's small) and ate dinner, talking until midnight. We did have an unexpected, tiny issue and the host quickly responded. Problem solved. We'd go back tomorrow if we could.

Jan was so easy to get ahold of and she goes above and beyond to guide you in off of the interstate making it a stress free drive. The home was clean and cozy and smelled amazing. She reached out and predicted any question that could have arose and provided answers before you thought of the questions. Had a lovely time and would recommend it to anyone. Just a wonderful stay!

What a great few days! Loft was just as described! Also, thank you for all the recommendations…We made our itinerary from them and had the best time!
