Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

Communication with Isabella was a breeze. She was responsive and friendly. Location was good - just a few minutes to JMU, grocery stores, and restaurants. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities - stove, oven, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, and coffee machine. There are also washer and dryer which are able to handle big loads of laundry. The bedrooms are comfortable, as were the beds and pillows. Even though the bathroom is small, the shower water pressure is very good. Isabella and Lorenzo provided us with helpful information and recommendations of where to eat and things to do in the area. Thank you 😊

Thank you for hosting us for the night! This airbnb was exactly what we needed. Amazing views and peaceful scenery of the mountains, yet an easy drive to the town. The Airbnb was really clean and cozy, and has all the amenities you will need.

Nice, clean place. Convenient location! Great if you want to fish or spend time on or near the river! Nice covered porch if it’s raining, great fire pit and chairs!

Everything was exactly as advertised and then some. This place was perfect for me and my two littles. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed, and check in was incredibly flexible. My only complaint is that I wish I found this place earlier in the ski season. 10 out of 10 hands down.

We are repeat guests at Paula’s and it’s always a great time. Visiting our JMU Duke and staying at the Southern Charm Retreat is always fun, convenient to the campus and relaxing. House is roomy and super clean. The game room is a fun bonus and the back yard deck is beautiful, well maintained and great for entertaining. Thanks as always Paula !

We were attending a wedding in Shenandoah caverns and this place was absolutely perfect for me, my husband, and our 3-year old. Loved that the day bed was out in the living room so we could keep the lights on in the bedroom after she went to sleep. The place was full of helpful and thoughtful amenities like snacks and complimentary toiletries in case you forgot something. So glad we chose Andrea’s place as our accommodations for the wedding!

We spent two nights at Lindsey's place in Luray to hike in Shenandoah NP. The location was fantastic, easy walk to restaurants, shops, movies. The apartment had a nice front porch that overlooked the river and greenway path. The house was had two floors and was roomier than we expected. Everything was spotless and the neighborhood was scenic and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a great stay! The home is in a great location and had plenty of space for our family of 5. Our kids loved the air hockey table. We were just 5 mins away from the Massanutten resort activities. Aleksandra’s home was clean and comfy!

Host was super flexible and responsive. Quiet location for little ones that needed naps. Lots to do in the surrounding area.

My family and I had a great time staying in the home. The images did not do it justice. We were shocked by the beauty of the views and scenery from their home. The property was large and our kids had a blast running around and playing in the treehouse. Highly recommend the place if you like nature and scenery. The train did pass a few times but our kids (ages 2-7) were fine with white noise at night. It didn’t disrupt our time at all. We also really enjoyed the game room. My wife loved using the kitchen and we were thankful they kept some spices on hand. The home is very kid friendly and one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. We grilled, watched the stars from the jacuzzi, picnicked and explored the grounds. We even got to use the laundry room with a quick help from the host. Highly recommend!!

We had a fantastic stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing long weekend. The beds were incredibly cozy, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, a well-stocked kitchen, a few of all necessities to start (e.g., coffee pods, dishwasher tablets). Ashley was communicative, kind, and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything we wanted to see and do. We truly felt at home here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an stress-free, high-quality Airbnb experience!

Amazing place and it had everything we needed! Clean and comfortable. The bunk beds were a huge hit! We loved everything about our stay here!

Excellent home for a group! Hannah's beautiful mansion had everything we needed for a wedding party group for the weekend. The home sits on top of a hill and has a gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home slept 10 with way more space for many additional guests. No complaints about our stay and I would like to thank and commend Hannah for her prompt communication and flexibility with our group!

It was the perfect place for a weekend trip with friends. It was great to have all the fun amenities we could want without leaving the house. We made great use of the basement entertainment room, hot tub, grill, and fire pit. The hosts were super communicative and even dropped by with some baked goods. There was a bit of wear and tear in places like the bathrooms, and a bit of pet fur in the bedding, but we weren’t too fussed over it. We would definitely stay here again!

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

Great location in the resort. Lots of events for entertainment.

It was great to have a quiet place with enough beds for our group. We had fun playing cards in the living room at night, and the view of the stars outside was great, too!

Communication was great, the location was nice and the description of the facility was spot on. It was roomy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Thank you Molly! What a beautiful location! Very clean with comfortable beds. Be aware that it is on the third floor and there is no elevator. It’s also not (exactly) in Mt. Jackson so it’s 45 minutes to Luray rather than 30.

We had a great couple of days here. Really enjoyed sitting on the back porch. We had to leave a day early because rain cancelled our mountain biking plans. We would stay here again!

The rental and grounds met our expectations and needs very well. Lots to do in the surrounding area. The pool and hot tub were just right. Comfy beds and cozy common area.

This pace feels like home! We stayed for 12 days and we never had the feeling of it growing old or not being comfortable. I think we could live there! Our pup did too. Everything about it was as described or better. The hosts were a fantastic family, very welcoming. You should really stay here!
