A peaceful, rustic setting in a historic town. Sleeps 1 - 4 guest. 15 mins from Harrisonburg, JMU and I-81! It is located close to popular tourist sites. The drive has beautiful views year around! It is a nice area for a walk or run. Located within walking distance of a country store, a church, and a Community Center - which can be rented out for events. We are only 15-20 mins from I-81. If you are looking for a place to rest to break up a long trip, this would be a nice place to stay!

We stayed for a long weekend with kids and had a great time. The pool was a fantastic perk and kept the kids entertained! Marci was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. There was plenty of sleeping space. The Murphy bed was huge and very comfortable. The full kitchen was well-stocked with plates, pots, and pans, and having a washer and dryer was a big plus.

We stopped at Mallory’s cabin both ways to a family wedding and it is the perfect quaint little cozy cabin to rest your feet and your mind. She supplies plenty of games to play as you unplug and unwind. There’s a babbling brook you can enjoy out back while kindling a small fire in the fire pit. Such a fun and cozy place to get away from it all.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a little trip to get away to the National Park. We found this place to be amazing! For the pricing we were shocked about how updated and nice it was! It was close to the train station, but not too loud. It made for a unique experience and was in walkable distance to the ice cream shack. 11/10 experience!!

The sauna features natural wooden walls and benches, creating a warm and inviting environment. A basket of heated stones is visible, and the space is illuminated by a single hanging light. The corner seating offers a relaxing area for users.

Slavic’s place was a wonderful experience from accommodating hosts to a great place for my family . We felt at home and had a fantastic stay from responsive communication before getting there to a great and welcoming stay. We would definitely book again when we’re back in Harrisonburg! This was my first Airbnb stay, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The cabin was peaceful, cozy, and tucked into a beautiful natural setting—absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway. The scenery was stunning, with views that made the morning and evening feel magical. Inside, the cabin had everything we needed and more. There were so many entertainment options to choose from, whether we wanted to relax with a movie, play a game, or just enjoy the quiet together. Morry was an exceptional host—friendly, thoughtful, and always quick to respond if we had a question. You can tell he truly cares about his guests’ experience. We left feeling relaxed, reconnected, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend!
