Vacation rentals with breakfast in Rockingham County

An absolute gem of a place - modern comforts nestled away in a completely private setting. Close enough to towns for eats if you want and super close to Shenandoah NP for exploring/hikes yet far enough away from everyone to see the stars at night the way they should be seen. The cottage was super clean and very well set up offering everything you’d need to have a great rainy day if needed indoors. Will come back for sure as we missed a few trails and wineries. Must see the Grand Caverns and visit Lil’ Gus for a burger just a short ride South. We were very fortunate and stayed during the Elkton Spring Festival in town for small town carnival fun without the city shenanigans we get at home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Even though we got in late, around 9:30pm, Eunice still came out to greet us upon arrival which immediately made us feel right at home. There were bagels and fresh baked cookies among other snacks like fresh fruit that were provided. The bagels made for the perfect grab and go breakfast each morning before heading to Shenandoah. After a long morning of hiking one day, we came back to relax for a bit and Eunice brought us both a fresh donut they had just made which was amazing. The cottage was so peaceful and clean. We were lucky enough for it to rain one night which was relaxing to listen to come down after a long day exploring in the park. The cottage was so quiet we could hear the clock ticking which was just what we needed the first night from a long drive in after work. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, we highly recommend Steven and Eunice’s place.

Sereda’s cabin exceeded our expectations. It was a little gem in the woods where we relaxed on the veranda, BBQ’d and sat round the camp fire outside. Great places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend!

This Airbnb was great! We arrived late into the night, but it wasn’t hard to find. It’s a very romantic cottage that was just perfect for my husband and I. It was pretty windy at night, but the heater that was provided kept us warm and cozy. In the morning Chi brought us our complimentary breakfast and it was delicious! She is so, so sweet and gave us a tour around her farm and showed us all her animals. It was the most wonderful Airbnb experience we had. And don’t even get me started with the gorgeous backdrop behind the cottage. It was so beautiful. Will 100% recommend staying here!!

What a great place to stay! Easy to find, private and we really enjoyed the suggestions of things to do and places to eat. Bed was comfy and the whole place felt like home.

A lovely stay at a lovely cabin on the grounds of a picturesque farm! We were greeted in the morning by a big flock of sheep outside our window, gave some great belly rubs to Blue the dog, and enjoyed the hot tub on a chilly, windy weekend. Hosts were extremely hospitable and kind, sharing local recs for food and grocery shopping.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this retreat in the woods. The bed was so comfy and everything was extremely clean. Fully stocked kitchen and bath. They even provided a cooler for our use! And the sauna was perfect after a day of hiking. The check out was super simple and much appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely visit again. Having a full kitchen to feed my college student a healthy meal was wonderful! The location was private and quiet and definitely worth the trip.

The Summerhouse was just as described and looked just like the pictures. Its a sweet older home and we found it very comfortable! Angela is a wonderful Host and she went above and beyond in her communications and the extras in the house. We got in late and were very grateful for the Milk in the fridge as well as some muffins and waffles. The coffee bar was great and had all we needed. We were able to start our morning off ready to go. The kitchen is wonderfully filled with all you need to prepare meals. We spent two weeks there and it became a 2nd home. Angela even dropped off some amazing chocolate chip cookies for us too. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is ideal and the views are wonderful!
