Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Matsumoto

Lovely stay in a beautiful area. The staff were all very helpful, including pick up and drop off to bus terminal. We had everything we needed and buses to the slopes were walking distance, although car hire would be even more convenient, especially if travelling with kids. Overall would recommend to any families or small groups travelling to Hakuba.

Schönes großes Haus mit günstiger Lage am Stadtrand von Yamanochi. Die Ausstattung ist top und es ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Man hat einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Berge und ist mit dem Auto in ca 20 Minuten in der Shiga-Hochebene und in unter 5 Minuten am Parkplatz zu dem Affen-Onsen. Einziger Nachteil ist die Lage direkt an einer lauten Hauptstraße. Nachts ist zwar wenig Verkehr, oropax aber dennoch empfehlenswert…

Six friends from Australia, were fortunate to stay at Rumi and Roberto wonderful B & B in the mountain slopes of Bessho onsen in the district of Ueda. 4 days of exploring the area, recommended eateries, onsons, galleries gave us an insight into a unique Japanese lifestyle. Friendly people made us feel welcome and we soon overcame the language differences by a mixture of hand signs and attempts at basic Japanese. The hospitality of Rumi and her recommended places to eat was outstanding. This has been a great start to journey in Japan. It has set the tone for the coming weeks. Thank you Rumi and Roberto.

A nice experience in a private house in Japan. An opportunity to see a real house instead of a hotel. Clean, well-equipped, easy to find, 5 minutes walk to the center. Exta: a very helpful host - supported us well as we were trying to direct our lost luggage to his place.

Eine sehr gute Basis, um Karuizawa zu erkunden, alles Interessante ist mit dem Auto in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Mooi groot huis op de heuvel. Steile helling. Groot terras, dat spoedig vernieuwd gaat worden, begrepen wij van Kim. Prachtig uitzicht. Heel rustig. Lekker ruim huis, voorzien van alle gemakken.

the apartment is very clean, homey, with great bed on tatami flooring. i really enjoyed my stay here and this is definitely one of the best highlights of our trip. the hosts are very friendly and caring, even informing us about the cold weather changes. thank you Syuji & Sachi for accommodating and let us experience this modern japanese-style apartment! we would definitely come back & recommend this place to our friends & family when visiting Takayama! 😊

The house was beautifully spacious, clean and toasty warm! Super close to the train station/ bus shuttles and supermarket. The house itself had everything you need! Pete was extremely great at communicating and helping us with the best local places to eat and organising transport. If I come back to Hakuba I’ll definitely be booking this place! 10/10

L'appartement était propre et fonctionnel, à deux pas de l'arrêt d'autobus. Pour notre part, nous avons plutôt marché dans le quartier qui était charmant, mais plus calme, un peu éloigné du centre. C'est ce que nous recherchions. Glendy a été très proactive et a répondu rapidement à nos questions. Nous avons même pu la rencontrer et discuter avec elle, ce que nous avons vraiment apprécié. Nous recommandons l'appartement de Glendy.

Exatamente conforme as fotos, local super limpo e aconchegante. Já aluguei várias vezes por aqui e nunca estive em um imóvel tão equipado com coisas p/ cozinha, mantimentos e outros como aqui. Muito obrigado por nos atender tão bem.

The hosts, Junichi san and Puy san are very accomodating and hospitable. The tourist spots are accessible from their airbnb. Hida Kokubunji is just accross the place. Our family enjoyed our stay.😊😊😊

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.
