I had a truly wonderful stay, and it was especially memorable thanks to the incredible hospitality I experienced. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for. The host went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — always available, kind, and thoughtful. The place itself was clean, cozy, and exactly as described, but it was the personal touch and kindness that made all the difference. I would absolutely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and inviting stay.

Guest House Nijuyon A traditional Japanese house that can also be used for recordings

AlexandraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Takashi’s place is wonderful and so peaceful! The village and its people are very welcoming. And the ramen meal in Kikyoya was amazing. Nakasendo Way with its shogunate history is easy and quick to get to by car from Takashi’s place. Renting a car was very easy and is well worth doing for discovering the area. We were fortunate to have found Takashi’s gem of a place on Airbnb. He is a great and kind host, who truly cares for his guests.

The house as well as the experience was amazing, it is much more beautiful than the photos. It’s one of the most beautiful renovated Japanese homes I’ve been in. The hosts are really friendly and helpful to give us recommendations which made our trip so enjoyable. If I travel to Gifu again I’d definitely stay again!

We stayed at Henry and Kyliie's place for 4 nights. it's our first time in the area and choosing their place was the right decision. Location is central as it's very close to the station, grocery store, good coffee shops and the Zenkoji Temple. Their home is very family friendly. High chair, pack and play and cute bowls, utensils were provided. Everything was perfect! Can't wait to be back in the area and stay again at your place! Thank you!
