From summer to early fall, the coolness unique to the highland at an altitude of 1,000 meters is particularly noticeable. At night, the temperature drops sharply, making the tropical nights of the city seem like a lie, and you can spend a comfortable night with a blanket at hand. For a relaxing time, we recommend warming your body from the core in the sauna, which can accommodate up to 7 people, and then cooling off in the outdoor Jacuzzi. The large wooden deck terrace overlooks the great outdoors. For a special experience, try outdoor dining with a gas BBQ grill (for a fee). Spending time chatting around the campfire or reading while looking out at the forest is also a luxury.

You can use the entire building of a sophisticated design house studio at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake. There is a spiral staircase right in front of you when you enter the front door.You can enjoy an extraordinary experience in a space furnished with exquisite pieces. Feel free to use the spacious living space, atelier space, rooftop bathroom, wood deck, and garden with stone kiln. [Accommodation fee] 1 building fee.Up to 6 people can stay at an even rate. Karuizawa Kaede House, located between Lake Shiozawa and Naka-Karuizawa, is very convenient. We renovated the villa into a cottage, so please relax and unwind. Within walking distance are luxury super Tsuruya, Asanoya Bakery, Mikado Coffee, Karuizawa Senju Hiroshi Museum, Karuizawa Taliesin, Muse no Mori and other art spots, Karuizawa's largest Yukawa Furusato Park, famous restaurants, cafes (Kikusui, Chishotei, RK Donuts Karuizawa Seikichi, etc.), tennis courts, and Viala annex Karuizawa. For summer vacation bookings in 2026 (for stays from July 21st to August 31st), children up to elementary school age stay for free. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
