As a base for sightseeing in Azumino, Hakuba, and Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or for extended periods. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe is also good, and it can accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays. With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it's also comfortable for extended stays. You can come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours one way. For groups of 5 or more, please consult in advance because we can arrange a rental car. There are still openings on weekdays in September. We only host one group per day. Part of the building is the host couple's room, so the entire building is not for rent.However, the privacy of your accommodation area is fully ensured. The neighborhood is a very quiet area dotted with fields and homes, and you can hear the birds singing in the morning. There are many sightseeing spots such as production direct markets, hot springs, and cycling roads nearby, so I recommend staying overnight. You can also go on a day trip to Kamikochi and Hakuba. It is surrounded by a quiet residential area, so please refrain from chatting loudly outside.Smoking is prohibited both inside the building and on the premises.Thank you for your cooperation. Parking is available for up to 2 regular cars. You can also rent bicycles (up to 3). If you come by train, the nearest station is Toyoshina Station on the JR Oito Line.From there, it is a 15-minute taxi ride, which costs around 2,000 yen.Please note that we do not provide a pick-up service. 　 An accommodation tax was introduced in Nagano Prefecture on June 1, 2026.An accommodation tax of 200 yen per person per night will be levied, and from June 1, 2029, it will be 300 yen.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience.
