Use Azumino and Ikeda-cho as your base in summer to enjoy the spectacular views of the Northern Alps. You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing unique to this season, such as Kamikochi, the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, and Hakuba Happo Pond. From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle calms down, and it is a season when you can enjoy the quiet of Shinshu. During the day, go to the mountains and highlands, and at night, enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and the starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino, Hakuba, and Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or for extended periods. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe is also good, and it can accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays. With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it's also comfortable for extended stays. You can come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours one way. For groups of 5 or more, please consult in advance because we can arrange a rental car. There are still openings on weekdays in September. Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places nearby such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. Feel free to use the entire building, which has been renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, as well as the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery and the forest where the stream flows.You can see birds, squirrels, and martens in the forest, and you can enjoy walking around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. You can also enjoy a barbecue on the wooden deck while looking out at the beautiful scenery of Nagano. There is also a hot spring facility nearby, so please use it as well. The inn can accommodate up to 6 people, but there are 4 beds. Please use the futon for the 5th person. We also welcome corporate training and workations. Located in a quiet place surrounded by nature, you can spend time in an environment that combines work and relaxation while increasing your concentration! This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
