Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Matlacha

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment we walked in until we left, we felt very at home. The house was exactly as described in the listing, but honestly went above our expectations. It was decorated beautifully and felt homey. There were board games and pool floats available for use, which was very kind. The library room (with an excellent selection of books) also had a full-size massage chair, which was amazing. The pool and spa might have been our favorite part. We loved that it was clean and the perfect temp for our use. Maria, our host, was quick to respond when I messaged her. Truly, this little weekend getaway went better than we hoped for, and we are grateful. We are hoping to make this a yearly girls getaway, and also hope to be able to stay here again. Our stay at Canal & Sunset Views was FIRST RATE all the way! The hosts responded clearly and quickly and even implemented safety grab bars and a shower transfer chair for our adult wheelchair bound son's 50th Birthday Vacation. They responded to our many inquiries and requests and made the entire stay PHENOMENAL! We loved having so much space to play games, watch movies, cook meals and we really enjoyed the large efficient kitchen & pantry areas. The screened lanai area was huge with lovely peaceful views of the canal and sunsets making the BnB aptly named. Having a large new grill is another great plus. The entire home was newly and beautifully furnished; the space is cozy, the beds are comfortable and best of all everything was IMMACULTELY CLEAN! Having a washer & dryer with all the soaps provided was very convenient and the huge master suite with double shower & closet it's own entrance to the lanai was PERFECT! Can't wait to stay there again!!

Love this house/location. Perfect to dock the boat all week. The canal is set in an ideal spot for travel to the flats and beyond to the Gulf and also lots of beaches filled with wildlife and seashells! Great trout fishing- super convenient. Our kids enjoyed their own little space and a plus was definitely not having to travel with our Firestick because Katie has everything set up for streaming. Also, not having to come home to a bunch of laundry was significant for us! She provided all of the necessities for our week long stay (TP, dish detergent/etc). It’s a great place to enjoy a lot of family bonding time, as we brought most of our meals to cook. Winn Dixie is right down the street, too! Thanks! Until next year!..

We had a wonderful stay! The house was exactly as described clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was how easy it was to access our boat; the location made everything so convenient, from docking to getting out on the water quickly. The host was responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

I cannot say enough about how responsive Wendy is. We had a few hiccups with our stay that had to do with a leak that occurred with the AC. Unfortunately, I had to call Wendy at almost 11 PM on our day of arrival and she picked up immediately! She worked to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible and stayed in communication with me the entire time. We visit this area often and I will definitely reach back out to Wendy for another stay :)

This was by far one of our favorite Airbnb’s. It was perfect for us (and our two dogs). And just as beautiful as the pictures! The Airbnb is very clean and organized. Everything we needed was provided. There were clear instructions written out, but if we had any questions, Loree responded quickly. We mostly hung out at the Airbnb, but walked into town, which was less than a 10 minute walk. We met Loree, who is one of the nicest people we have met. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay throughout our entire stay. Looking forward to going back and renting her Airbnb too!

I took my family on a 3 days vacation. It was 10 of us. I was so afraid it would be too tight for that many people, but I was happily surprised as soon as we got it. It is a lot more spacious than I thought it would be. We were able to sit comfortably for lunch at the dining table. The kitchen was well equipped and the room were spacious. The best part was the pool ! Great place for a great price ! The neighborhood was charming with a lot of nature. Walking distance to Jug creek were there is a restaurant and music, right on the water. If you like fishing, the boat ramp is. At the end of the street !! Best relaxed and unwind place

It was a awesome place for a vacation. The house was spotless and the patio area is amazing. Everything was 100% about this place. We had zero complaints and would recommend this place any day. It is in a really nice neighborhood.

The house is a true gem! Beautiful comfortable and it has everything you need. Super family-friendly, everything has been thought to make you feel at home. The pool is beautiful and the summer kitchen is amazing. On top of that Romy goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good time and he’s super responsive. We are very happy we picked this house and we will come back!

Beautiful does not even begin to describe this place. The house was very clean and very cozy. We loved having access to the swimming pool. That was the kids favorite part. Will definitely stay again if I ever go back to Florida. Thank you for always being responsive and for the use of your beautiful home.

Betsy’s place was very cute and welcoming! The backyard was perfect and very relaxing. Betsy was very responsible and flexible. Only feedback for future guests is to note that she does provide with a small starter pack of supplies (one paper towel, one extra garbage bag and no dish soap), so keep in mind you will need to bring your own supplies if you’re having a large group staying at the house. Otherwise, it’s a lovely space and a very quaint neighborhood! Highly recommend!

Sadie was wonderful! The details weren't exactly clear that the garage being rented out as a separate airbnb so having my child with me that was concerning but Sadie did a great job working with us and made us feel right at home. Her place was the best and cleanest we've ever stayed at. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again!

Great house and great host! Home was super-clean, had very comfortable beds, and had plenty of space to relax. We loved the enclosed backyard area (grill/kitchen/bar area, pool, and hot tub). We would definitely come back next time we are in the area. Property was just as described.

Lovely place to spend time with family. I loved that it’s pet-friendly. We all had a great time because your pets can easily adapt to the place. There are instructions to help with that. Christy was very communicative and kind at all times. Highly recommended.”

Tonya was easy to work with and answered my questions, even went out of her way to get a picture ( regarding dock as we brought a boat) The house is gorgeous, neighborhood is as well. It's located close to everything, but tucked into a neighborhood that's quiet with essentially no traffic. We've done the AirBNB thing in Marathon, Pine Island, Punta Gorda, etc. This home and Cape Coral are our favorite so far! Five stars!

The house was really beautiful and peaceful. The bed was comfortable, the ac worked really well. I personally like hearing the sound of the AC, but if you don’t it is loud but they do have a fan. The pool is shareable and at the owners side, but they did give us privacy and closed the blinds. The environment was full of nature, calming, and inviting. Although they did have a ton of construction everywhere we personally didn’t mind.

Great place to relax. Loved the fence patio for my dogs to play safe . I recommend this place to watch birds, go to beach Islands by ferry.

We came to Cape Coral to fish with family in the area. This place had everything we needed to be comfortable and have the best time. The canal did not disappoint, we were able to catch jacks, snappers, and lots of cat fish. Gary responded immediately when we had a question and we would definitely stay here again!

The house was just what we needed, a quiet, pet-friendly spot just a few minutes from Sanibel Island. The house was very clean and the yard was completely fenced, allowing our dogs to explore. We would book, again.
