Chalet vacation rentals in Massanutten

The cabin was perfect for staying with our two kids. The playrooms and well stocked kitchen and rooms made it easy to keep them entertained and relax in the mountains. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect weekend getaway! There are many great hikes and touristy things to do nearby. It was a nice place to unplug and relax!

My husband and I came to Firnew Studio for a little getaway. We reached the farm quite late on a rainy night, so we didn't know what to expect. The next morning, we woke up to the most STUNNING view!! The studio was so cute- filled with beautiful artwork! Alex was super helpful & kind - & my favorite part of the whole weekend- LOUIE! Whenever my husband and I would go outside, he would magically appear and spend the entire time with us. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful space with us. We truly enjoyed our stay here & look forward to coming back ☺️

This house was so cozy, my children loved it!! Mary & Chris was available if we needed anything. We will definitely be using their home again!!

Lovely, well-equipped, spacious home in an idyllic location. The multi-level layout was perfect for two families- great common areas for gathering while also affording separate space and privacy.

The Old Farm House was fantastic and exactly what we were looking for! It’s located on Graves Mountain Lodge property, an outdoor paradise and short hop to Old Rag. We wish we would have stayed more than one night and we’ll definitely be back!

This was a beautiful option for a quiet, scenic stay in Massanutten. My friends and I had a wonderful time, and Tom left clear instructions for every single component of our stay. I would absolutely book with this host again!

The home is clean and open. Game Room was a blast for the whole family. Enjoyed the hot tub after long hikes in the Shenandoah. Short and beautiful rides to Massnutten, Skyline Drive and Lauray Caverns. Shopping and good restaurants close by. Our host was kind and responsive.

Great accommodations for group trips. There are a number of in home activities; games, karaoke, hot tub, etc readily available. Proximity to Massanutten slopes was the selling point for our group of beginner skiers NOT interested in ski in/ski out options.

We had a lovely mini-three day, family reunion at Brian and Jane‘s Mountain cottage. Everything was as described in the Airbnb posting. There were plenty of TVs, a big, recreation room in the basement for fun and games with air hockey, foosball, video, games, etc., and there was even a little reading nook with two beanbag chairs for my granddaughters. Just outside the recreation room is the hot tub and that was also sparkling clean and easy to use. We enjoyed unwinding there in the afternoons. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were sparkling clean. The gas fireplace made the living room very cozy, and it was easy to use. My pet peeve at most Airbnb‘s is that the cutlery is so dull that you can’t even cut butter! But Brian and Jane‘s house had sharp and plentiful cutlery, which made meal preparations so much easier. And, although I had some difficulty finding their house, nobody else in our party did, so it must have been my problem. You’ll enjoy your stay!

Loved our stay at this chalet! It was so clean and perfect for our family! So close to the ski slopes and a beautiful neighborhood to walk around. Comfortable beds and a wonderful common space for family gathering. It was so great to be able to bring our well-trained Goldendoodle and loved that while the house was pet-friendly, it did NOT smell like pets, which a lot of pet friendly places do. A warmer morning allowed a beautiful family breakfast on their porch with beautiful views of nature. Overall we had an amazing stay!!!!

The stay with some friends was wonderful and very accommodating. The house was well cooled and quiet. Neighborhood was a peaceful place where a morning coffee on the balcony with nature singing made every morning wonderful! Great internet speeds ~500mbps up and down if that's what you need and entertainment was easy to use and convenient. Only a 30ish minute drive to a plethora of fun things to do we drive to the nearby city and did an escape room. Highly recommended and would come back here! The hosts were very communicative, clear, and concise with their instructions for check in and check out along with reiterating check in and check out information to avoid confusion or stress and responded always within a reasonable time.

Clean place. A lot of amenities. Great location with the resort.
