Great location in Hautvillers. A very quiet and pretty village. We used chatGPT to suggest a 1.30-2hr walk around the vineyards which was great. Lots of small champagne makers - make sure to book a tour. Everyone was friendly. Parking is available but would recommend for a small car, very easy to drop off outside though so no problem, we parked in the village car park 1 min walk away.

Emmanuellle brought us fresh cherries from her garden and constantly checked we did not need anything. A perfect base for exploring the area. St Dizier, Troyes, Nancy and Lac du der. Nice accommodation in the cozy village of Äy-Champagne. Various well-known large and small-scale champagne houses within walking distance. For fresh bread and delicious pastries, you don't have to walk far, and there are also several good restaurants nearby. The accommodation is spacious and tidy. The kitchen is equipped with all essentials. There was even a delicious bottle of champagne and delicacy from the patisserie ready for us on arrival! The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are fine. With children, the stairs are a bit of a style, so we barricaded them in the evening with some furniture ;-) All in all, super nice stay!

This apartment has a fantastic location. Many restaurants and cafes within a 2 minute walk. The cathédrale, Reims train station and multiple tram stops are also within easy walking distance. The apartment is on the top floor of a renovated mansion. Clean, quiet and intelligently designed. Note that the bed is lofted, accessible by retractable ladder, so people with mobility issues may find this a challenge. The building itself is safe and there isn’t too much street noise at night despite the building being in the center of downtown. A great place for either a couple or a solo traveler.
