Vacation rentals with a patio in Marfil

Great location and views! Nice shower. The electric kettle was perfect for all the tea we drank (we brought our own tea). Great outdoor patios, and great city noise (dogs barking, birds chirping, roosters calling). Noise can carry into the night, but not a problem for us as we sleep with ear plugs. I would stay here again. Also, neighbors dog, Rex, is quiet and too adorable.

The view was very nice and the accommodation was very comfortable, in addition to including many things. The service was very complete.

The stay was awesome! The location is excellent, close to everything! The host Erik, like his parents, are very friendly. The cleanliness was spotless. The house is fully stocked. ¡I highly recommend it if they are going to spend a few days in Guanajuato!

This place is more than excellent...!!! 100% recommended, in a very nice area, the balcony allows you to watch the sunset, I was delighted.

Excellent place for one person, with the minimum necessary for a stay of several days. The location is perfect, because in my case it was close to the University and also on foot or by bus you could get to the center very quickly. It is also close to OXXO, Aurrerá, banks and places to go running in the afternoons. Paulina's service was impeccable, always attentive to any needs I had and willing to help. I would definitely consider this place to stay again for study purposes.

Cannot recommend David Hernandez enough. He is very thoughtful and detail-oriented, and sent us an activity calendar for the time during our stay so we'd have some ideas of local events in and around Centro. Thank you for making us feel welcome!

Everything is very good, a very nice place, but very safe, I love it ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved the Boveda Suite. It was really well designed and decorated. Even though it was upper 80s during the day, it still stayed cool at night. The space is very large with two big rooms, tall ceilings and an adequate bath. The terrace space was another feature, and a great view. When the callejonadas sing, they frequently come by one side or the other of the terrace. It was a bonus to have two cats and three turtles on site. Literally, almost everything is located within a quarter mile or less: shops, restaurants, University, churches, markets, theater, etc. It's also an easy taxi ride from the bus station

Wow!!! This place was amazing! Spacious, beautifully conserved and really felt like home. The juliet balcony was soo lovely. The bedrooms all had windows which was nice to allow natural light to come on. It was so close to everything yet quiet and peaceful. Andre was helpful with providing instructions on how to get there as well as checking in to make sure all was well. Definitely a gem and will be coming back! Gracias!!!

We stayed at Casa Serena for almost 2 months. The house is charming and had everything we needed to feel at home and be self-reliant. The beds were so comfortable and the linens and towels were top-notch. Have a filtered water spout in the kitchen was a huge plus as it was great not to have to purchase and lug drinking water! The house is within easy downhill walking distance to the historic district with its lovely parks, museums, shops and restaurants. As is the case in many Guanajuato neighborhoods, the house sits on a hillside and so your walk back up from town is quite a workout! Still, that did not pose a problem for us. Alvaro was a perfect host. He was very responsive to any questions that came up and showed genuine concerns for our comfort and experience in his hometown. The welcome packet provided great recommendations for excursions and restaurants to try. Thank you too, Alvaro for the lovely sparkling wine you presented us with when we arrived. Thank you, Alvaro!

The house is very spacious and with everything you need to be comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and there's room to park the car and it's safe. The rooms are very spacious and have fans in hand. The only thing is that it is advertised as having air conditioning (like mini-split) but in the room we stayed there were only the ceiling fans and one pedestal that was what we used to spend the night. Otherwise, everything is very good and clean.

It is much nicer than what you see, a very comfortable place, the host is super friendly and always attentive to everything, the house was very clean, an incredible view, and the person who received me was super friendly. I will definitely be back soon.

I had a great stay! The location is excellent, and the house is spacious—perfect for relaxing or spending time with a group. The rooftop patio is absolutely amazing and definitely a highlight. The only thing I would have appreciated is if drinking water had been provided. Other than that, everything was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

Perfect location in the heart of the city center. And Alejandra was extremely responsive.. when my bus arrived six hours late to Guan. she made arrangements for me to still have a smooth check in.

Absolutely lovely house, with a great view of the city, and away from the noise of the center. It was the perfect mix of peaceful and accessible. As the crow flies, it's very close to the center, but up a steep hill. The stairs to the neighborhood are even and well-maintained, but mostly we were lazy and took the funicular to and from the Pipila monument, which costs $40 MXN and is a 5 minute walk (plus a few dozen stairs, and a short hill to the house itself). There are lots of snack stalls around El Pipila and some small markets for necessities even closer. Monica and Samuel are wonderful, on-site hosts and helped us out with recommendations, water, and a taxi to the airport. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, indoor temperatures were comfortable during a hot June. We loved our time here and would recommend it unequivocally unless you absolutely can't manage stairs, since there's some stairs up to and within the house. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Excellent service, Erika surpassed assisting us in every way! We stayed in the Villa and it’s super spacious, and really nice. At night there is such a beautiful view to the city. The town is only a 10 min drive and the staff can coordinate rides into town. (Only $5) honestly the town gets pretty loud with the musical festivities so Casa Estrellas location is ideal so you can relax when you’re not in town. Definitely recommend, and would return.

I loved the place. The loft has incredible details that made a big difference for us; for example, the towels, blankets and sheets of super quality that makes you feel at home. The details of the lighting, it has light in the hallway, in the bathroom, small lamps at the head of the bed, excellent for every need for a day of rest. Light connections everywhere, with a USB input for phones. The pool is delightful, with warm water and an excellent whirlpool. We left the car outside the loft and had no problems, even though the neighborhood is not very busy. I'm looking forward to returning!

Great place, would come back again

If you are looking for an authentic living experience in Guanajuato, this is the place. Casa Paulina was located less than 10 minutes, maybe even 5, from the lively center of the city, which made it easy for us to access the many museums, restaurants, and tours available within Guanajuato and out. The house itself was super charming (historical even), clean, and had an amazing view. Most ammenities were available and working, although I might suggest checking the functioning of the microwave. And while I went with a two other women, older I might add, the area was safe and for the most part easy to get to (my grandmother with a bad knee was able to walk up the callejon 2-3 times per day). I appreciated the responsiveness of Mr. Mundo and his ability to share helpful information regarding food and city life. Overall, it was a successful stay at Casa Paulina and would definitely choose this home again.

It's very comfortable, and it's easy to get to from downtown. We have a car but we always moved on foot because everything is accessible (very close to the university in fact). We left the car on Alameda Street, and it was safe 👍🏻
