Honestly, one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at! Dieter was a really nice host, and checked in to see how we were going. Checking into the apartment was super easy and it was all very clean. The best part of this Airbnb is definitely the location and amenities. If you’re looking for an Airbnb with amazing views from your window, that’s still close to Lucerne city (both walking distance and easy bus access), then this is the one! All the appliances and furniture also seemed brand new, which just added to the really nice feel of the apartment.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Dario's apartment with beautiful views. The apartment is as described and pictured, very clean, sparse decor. Host is helpful & responsive, flexible with check-in which was much appreciated. We had everything we needed (did not cook in) to enjoy our time there, though a couple more comfy chairs on the terrace would be a great addition since that's where you will want to be. Easy to walk into town (uphill to get back but not an issue for us). No a/c and quite warm while we were there, so be advised. Fans provided but no screens on windows so moths/mosquitos have free access. Carpet on stairs is worn but everything was in working order. Coffee, bread, jam, & butter were graciously left for our enjoyment. There was painting happening on the outside of the building, so part of our view was marred with scaffolds, which we did not know about until arrival, but views still amazing! We would certainly recommend this lovely apartment for a great stay.

Dieter and Sylvia’s apartment is incredible, more beautiful than pictured, on an aquamarine lake with views of snowcapped peaks, farmhouse-dotted mountains, and windsurfers whipping around like dragon flies. We would have happily sat on the patio all day. Or better yet, on the stone steps with our feet in the lake! When time came to go indoors, each room was tasteful and comfortable, with big windows and phenomenal views. The kitchen is well designed, equipped with everything you need. And the apartment was spotlessly clean. There is a ton to do in the area and the town of Flüelen is relaxed and easy. We hope to come back to experience it in winter! Dieter and Sylvia were very generous with their attention, making sure our needs were met in the apartment and pointing us in the direction of special activities outside. Their kindness and hospitality made a big impression on us. This is a magical place. Hands down, our best AirBnB ever.

We had a wonderful stay on the Eggbergen. It was truly a memorable experience. The apartment was spacious, beautifully equipped, and offered breathtaking views straight out of a picture book. We felt warmly welcomed and appreciated the many helpful tips we received during our time there. The fresh eggs, and other local produce from the nearby farm shop were a real treat, and we’ll definitely miss the peaceful atmosphere and the cows grazing below the house. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature in a stunning setting!

Check-in and checkout was smooth. Washer/dryer on site in the building which is helpful. Good location, close to the city centre. Clean unit. Hosts were communicative.

Hans place was great and Andrea was great at communication. The location is great, only 8 mins to the center station. The waterbody described is walkable however not much to do on this side of the lake. The apt building is sorrounded by office building and a construction site which can be noisy in the am on weekdays, wasnt much of a problem for us as we were out and about early most days. The bedroom was nice and clean, however had two relatively smaller pillows and I agree with someone on here that the bed couldve been a bit more comfortable. The place is kept quiet cozy even when it was 50F out, we couldnt control the indoor temp so opened the windows and used pedestal fan provided. The bathroom was nice and clean, however there were no shampoo/shower gel, its ok as we got to explore to the nearby Migros mart which is maybe a 10 or so min walk. The kitchen was nice and clean, had all the crockery that one would need, we made breakfast almost daily. Overall great stay and recommended

The location was perfect for seeing the sites and located close to the water and metro station. The AB&B was very clean with simple yet thoughtful decor. There was helpful places to store your items with a storage shelf unit in the bedroom and several drawers on a desk. The shower pressure and temp were wonderful.

We had a wonderful time & stay at Rea’s apartment. It was a great location, near bus stop and walking distance to everything. All modern appliances with detail video instructions provided beforehand. Rea’s apartment was very clean and modern . She was easy to communicate and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Words can’t really describe how perfect this place is. The location is impeccable - you will want to live on the patio. 😻 It’s serene and feels private even though there are other units nearby. The place is equipped with everything you need and was super comfortable. There is a convenient bus stop right out front to get into town if needed (super helpful with luggage and groceries!) but the walk is easy and beautiful. Jenny was an excellent host - kind and responsive and provided tons of detail. I would stay here again - and hope to if I’m lucky enough to return!

If you’re planning a trip to Switzerland this is THE PLACE to stay! It’s always been a dream of mine to visit Switzerland and at first I was very lost on where to stay but I am SO THANKFUL I came across this air bnb because it made our trip that much better! The pictures on here don’t do the place justice. It was better than we expected and the host make you feel like family while you’re there. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It’s one of the best air bnbs I’ve ever been in and the location/views are unbeatable. We could walk to the train station and the town of Grindelwald with ease. If we ever get the chance to come to Switzerland again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I was sad to leave but so happy we got to come and experience this. You won’t regret booking this for your trip!

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! By far the best Airbnb experience Beautiful apartment in a quite location with easy access to Luzerne via bus The apartment was spotless, spacious and very comfortable with a fully functional kitchen and a huge bathroom Best part was Mark his wife who were super friendly and made our stay extremely comfortable. Also their adorable cat Lumi greeted us outside the door day and night Must stay place if visiting Lucerne!

This property is incredible, the view from the balcony is incredible! You’re right in the middle of an area with lots of good restaurants and on the waterfront promenade. This was a memorable stay for our family and we’d definitely stay again

The perfect Airbnb and the perfect host. You feel at home as soon as you enter the apartment. The spotless apartment had all the amenities mentioned and Patrick was very responsive and kind enough to accommodate additional requests, due to extreme heat we had requested some table fans to beat the heat. He immediately acknowledged our request and next day we had two fans in the apartment. The apartment is located in a very peaceful neighborhood (except for the church Bells which you will eventually get used to). Very close to Lucerne, easy day trips to Pilatus, Titlis, Interlaken, Zürich, Grindelwald and lauterbrunnen. Patrick place is very affordable compared to other Airbnb's and worth every penny. Highly recommended and will definitely book this place the next time I visit Switzerland.

Hilde and Peter were great hosts. The house is exactly as you see it. It was so clean! Spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was amazing after some long days of hiking. It’s in a great location for adventures through central Switzerland. We drove 6 mins to Sarnen, parked our vehicle at the train station and took the train to Lucerne. Don’t forget your coins as many car spots don’t accept credit cards. We did the golden round trip to Mt Pilatus. Amazing. Get there early and book tickets in advance! The following day we did Stoos Ridge. Unbelievable hiking. About 3-4 hours depending on your level. Must take water and snacks!!! We also did SoleUno Spa in Basel. A bit of a distance but for us worth it as we spent 4 hours there.

Marlise is so nice! She gave me 5FR directly when I said I had no coin for luggage deposit at the train station. She also helped me fill in the guest form since I forgot to do so. The house is located on a small hill. You need to climb around 15mins with your luggage to get there, that’s a bit exhausting. But the view is pretty nice, exactly the same as shown! You also need to bring your own shampoo and body wash.

Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

Chuen was a great host and should be proud what he has done with his Swiss home. It’s a perfect accomodation to stay in a peaceful traditional place in Switzerland home, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery whilst having everything you need, including a kitchen, great bed and bathroom for exploring the Swiss landscape. The hike from the train station is a little steep for those with suitcases, but for those back packing it is worth it. Would recommend to anyone staying in Switzerland!

Nothing short of amazing! It was an absolute delight to stay at Steffi’s place for our 2nd year anniversary celebration and we were greeted by not just a friendly and cheerful host personally at the door but probably the most stunning view of any Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Steffi herself to the time to meet us, give us some very nice tips which added that much more to our experience of the area. The apartment was clean and everything was catered to so you had the feeling you were pampered all the time. Even though there is a bus connection, we were fortunate to be able to get there by car which made the place very accessible to us and helped us visit Bern and other cities quite easily. Although, a great hike is only a stone’s throw away with some wonderful trails already starting as you step out the door. We would give Steffi more than 5 stars if we could and would be more than happy to recommend her place! :)

We had a lovely stay in Ennenda at the Banzers. They are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.

Peter was very responsive. We love the view! Small touches made our stay special - complimentary coke, washing machine pods, dishwashing soap and the guidebook was very helpful too.
