Miguel is a welcoming and communicative host. He guided us the first time from the main road via the unpaved path to his cortijo. Pleasant, because, although a great route to ride, it takes some getting used to the first time. The location of the house is insane, the view phenomenal. We didn't get enough of the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada (April). There is a pleasantly large terrace with various seating options and a spacious fenced garden, where you can safely let the dog roam and lie in a hammock yourself. The house is bigger than the pictures suggest and is comfortable in its simplicity. Excellent kitchen, plenty of tools, nice bed, heating if desired via gas stove or wood stove. Excellent wifi. You are full of nature and can enjoy hiking nearby. In short, recommended!

the house of Oliver and Maria, has a dreamy location, a peace and you can only hear the birds. in the middle of nature and with everything next door, restaurants, super, hiking .... The house has a lot of charm, the beds, mattresses and comforters super good and comfortable. the kitchen has everything you need and the fireplace we loved it, the house is very cozy. The garden is expectacular with the smell of orange blossoms and lemon trees, a wonder for all the senses!! And there are also many walking trails very close to the house. Communication with Oliver and Maria has been very good , with a very quick response. We'll be back for sure!

We have rested and disconnected like never before! The cabin is beautiful and it is very nice to be there hosted. Luna, the owner, is very friendly and recommended activities in the area and places to eat. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay, despite the torrential rain for most of our visit (March). The house is comfy and we loved the wood-burning stove. The kitchen was great and very well kitted out, and we did a lot of cooking with local produce. The outside area was beautiful, mountains as backdrop, and a huge garden with different areas to sit and enjoy the views and wildlife. Even had orange trees. The house is about 3km from Orgiva, along a very winding road. We were glad it was still daylight when we first arrived, to help find it. Thanks for a lovely stay. I'd love to come back in better weather to really enjoy the pool and do more of the local walks.
