El Sitio exceeded our expectations. The staff are warm, helpful, and professional. We arrived late and the staff were wonderful at checking us in and getting us settled. The suite was beyond the pictures. The hotel is right on the beach, perfect for us as we were surfing. The restaurant on site was equally amazing, exceeded expectations, and reasonably priced. The bar and restaurant staff were fantastic. In the late afternoon each day a dj would spin until after sunset. The only thing we wished was that we could have stayed longer. Whether for a relaxing trip, surf and sun, family, romance or a friends trip, we highly recommend visiting Playa Venao and staying with the folks at El Sitio. It is truly a magical place!

An incredible oasis and perfect location right on the beach and close to all the fun Venao has to offer. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a premium room for my husband’s birthday. The hosts were very attentive and responsive. Would definitely return.

This is a great place to stay in Pedasi! There isn’t much to do in pedasi - was an extremely quiet town. But this place was attached to a restaurant with great food and live music so it was perfect. Highly recommended!

Very nice hostel, very friendly owners and very nice food in the restaurant right next door. Unfortunately a little off the beaten path so you need a taxi or car to get into the city or to the beach.

My room was decorated with excellent taste (the photos are accurate), very confortable and the bed, huge and relaxingly firm. The view over the garden and the sea from inside as well as from its private terrace are one of its best features. The internet connection is fast, which allowed me to work from there and have conf calls without any problem. The kitchen, gravity center of the Hill, is beautiful and perfectly equipped. The common areas are very well designed - as befits the house - and actually make you want to stay there all day. But there's so much to do in Cambutal. On top of hanging out on its black sand beach set against the tropical greenery, there's good surfing spots, hikes in the jungle, swimming in cascade pools...Stephan had very good advice and helped me organize all these activities. I had such a great time there that I extended my stay and would have stayed more if I could.

Staying at The Hill was definitely an experience that was worth it. The views were amazing! Upon arrival, you're greeted by the hosts, Stephan and Thuy. You're offered a welcome drink before being showed your room. During our stay, we had the privilege of choosing between the room we initially booked and another vacant room to choose. We chose the other room as the view from the room we ended up choosing was more than worth it. We spent one night watching the sunset from our balcony. Each of the bedrooms have their own separate theme. The theme of our room was pink, my friend was in love as it's her favorite color. Overall, the stay was welcoming. The view was beautiful, the host were accommodating and the stay was relaxing. Since the location is called the hill, please be aware that it is located on a hill and you will be traveling up dirt roads in order to reach the beauty. There is a path for 4×4 and one for 4×2.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Stephan and Duy’s place. The house and surroundings are stunning, and the hosts are warm, friendly and helpful. The only backside of our stay was that we needed to work (which is totally feasible thanks to good WiFi, desk etc). We hope to return soon. Thanks again Stephan and Duy 😊

Really nice appartment in the middle of Pedasi. Alexa was super helpful and also the shared kitchen was nice - there could be a little more utensils like a good knife and also the kitchen stove didn’t work but overall it was good. We worked remotely their and we enjoyed the outdoor area next to the kitchen very much. Can only recommend :)

The cabanas, pool/patio area and attention met our expectations, keep them clean and nice; the owners are very friendly and the restaurant offers delicious food for lunch and dinner. We felt right at home, the treatment is very warm and friendly, they support what you always need. The only observation is that El Puerto Beach is not as cute as other beaches in Panama. We really enjoyed it because we know it and we already know what to expect, it is a beach that we have gone to many times and we love it because it is quiet, with a delicious breeze, it is shallow and safe for the boys. This place is perfect for a quiet getaway to be secluded for a few days but is also very close to Las Tablas or Chitre if you want to visit. We loved it!
