What a gem! If you want a cute, conveniently located, comfortable place in Santa Barbara, look no further. Everything from the back patio to the rooftop garden was terrific, and we felt right at home. Short walks to the Funk Zone, the beach, State Street, and the harbor made this a 10/10 experience. We will return!

This was the most well stocked Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything. I would say to myself “oh I need a…” and there it was! When we were heading to the beach one day there were chairs, towels and umbrellas right there. The owners were very responsive and asked if we needed anything. I was surprised at how close it was to the freeway when it showed hillside view. In the end, it made it easier to get to places by being nearer the freeway. You couldn’t hear the cars while inside the house. Sleeps 6 couples and one of those is a pullout sofa.

Our family’s stay in Santa Barbara was made so comfortable by this lovely home! It was so well equipped with all the kitchen and bath necessities, and it was so pleasant to look out toward the mountains while relaxing in the open living space. The location was so convenient and walkable to the beach, to State St., to 101, and to food markets and many dining options. The train made minimal noise on a predictable schedule and we enjoyed watching it come and go! We easily explored Santa Barbara from this easy and pleasant home base. We had a really great stay here. Our hostess, Debbie, was super responsive and helpful. I always want to hear about the bed and pillows - both were super comfortable. Mama Dux was clean, welcoming, and did not disappoint. If you’re unfamiliar with the area, the apartment was in the middle of everything. We parked our car and literally walked everywhere - the funk zone, the beach, farmers market, state street…of course, this convenience to everything comes with the fact that it is not in a quiet area. You could hear cars with loud music, passers by, and the like. In addition, Mama Dux is a first floor apartment and one of the units is upstairs, so you will hear your neighbors if the apartment is occupied. I went to Santa Barbara with my 22 year old daughter and we had an absolute blast at Mama Dux and I would without a doubt stay here again.

Perfect little place to stay while on business. Very nice to have a kitchen where we could make our own meals and not have to rely on eating out. Stocked with the right amenities, access to washer and dryer, and very clean! The beds are firm, which was a bit difficult form us personally, but that in no way will reduce my score and review of this quaint and perfectly located gem.

Coastal Victorian Retreat w deck-Walk to Downtown!

We had a wonderful time at Ted’s Airbnb! It was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed for our 3-night family getaway. The location was peaceful and quiet but very close to the walkable downtown and just a short drive to both SLO and Pismo. We also checked out some local beaches which were great too. All the rooms and bathrooms were squeaky clean and had many thoughtful touches. We cooked meals in the huge kitchen and ate as a family. They even have ad-free streaming services which was a nice touch. Upon check-in, multiple family members said something along the lines of, “I wish we lived here! I wish this was our house!” :) We’d definitely stay here again if it’s available on our next trip to the area.

Luis was a wonderful host. This house is so great for so many reasons! It is very comfortable with a good amount of space, back yard is beautiful and great for kids to run around and the garage is full toys to keep kids busy. House is a block and a half from a park. We’d be so happy to stay here again!
