Vacation rentals with a patio in Los Arribes

It was just wonderful to visit the Douro region – and especially to be a guest of José and his family. The house is situated in a quiet, idyllic village location and is furnished in a charming country house style. We felt incredibly comfortable from the first moment. After just two days, we felt like we had been living in this wonderful house forever. The evenings in front of the crackling fireplace, with a glass of port wine from José's own vineyard, were unforgettable. José and his family fulfilled our every wish with their warm nature and attention and made our stay simply perfect. An absolute highlight is the wine tasting at José's – an experience not to be missed! We sincerely hope that we can return one day and enjoy your fantastic port wine with you. Natacha and Raquel did so much for us. Such lovely, warm, genuine people. The extent to which they both went to assist us with a medical issue was heart warming. They are the salt of the earth. Their house is comfortable, full of character and well equipped, with a well stocked pantry and fridge. If you like a quiet, peaceful location, in a tiny old country village, this is it.

Staying at Ana’s place was a pleasure. She was helpful and responsive. The unit was pristine.

Mendo Castle provides a few quiet and relaxed days, in the midst of the nature and history of that locality, and Casa do Sampaio helps all this! A house with all the amenities! Great stay! The location of this accommodation is ideal, close to everything: restaurants, shops, public transport and main attractions. It was a real pleasure to be able to do anything on foot! The apartment was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. I would highly recommend this place for those looking for convenient and pleasant accommodation. Unforgettable experience! What a wonderful place in the mountains. The view and farm is unique and I enjoyed it every minute of it. Pedro is a fantastic host, best I have ever stayed at. He took hours out of his time to teach us about his culture, his land, his wine, and olive oil he produces. He was so much better than all the tastings we went to out in Douro and Dao and has such a cool cellar tasting room. The house is perfect and has every touch you need. We had a fire one night outside and all the stars were out. Just the entire farm itself is perfect for a great hike. I could write for hours about how great this place is. Thank you so much Pedro for the experience and wonderful stay at your place. Lastly, the breakfast is great, the eggs are from the chickens on the farm, oranges from the orange trees on the farm, etc, true farm to table every morning.

A great house to relax, a great patio, with a pool, foosball... We had a great time. The house is very comfortable. Close to Fermoselle, which we also loved. Carmen's recommendations were very good

Olmo and his family are lovely. The gardens of the house, the orchard, the carpentry workshop, the flowers, the patio… everything is like film. The kids were happy and the adults too!! We look forward to coming back soon. Thank you for everything!!!!
