It’s remote, too far normally to walk to town, but our hosts did a great job of supplying us with breakfast food and wine, so we were never without the important things. Phillipa and Paul were absolutely lovely to work with and their property is unbelievable! We felt like we owned a Quinta for a few nights! we got to explore the property, visit with Paul and one of their sons, and savor the beauty of the Douro. They were proactive with communication and sourced a number of wonderful adventures, activities and meals. Without their guidance our trip would have been less fun!

We had a wonderful stay and wish it could have been longer! The property is beautiful. Anna was so nice and friendly and gave us great recommendations and information about the area and the history. We are definitely hoping to stay here again!

Great hosting. The apartment is very comfortable, with all the necessary equipment. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the historic center, markets and good restaurants (highlight the Bella Ciao pizzeria). Easy to park in front of the apartment or very close by, on the main street. The reception was excellent, the Cati was very welcoming and friendly, showed us the whole place and gave us tips about the city, as well as having left bread, butter, milk, juice and various other products available for our stay. Thank you!!! It will certainly be our choice if we return to Ciudad Rodrigo.

Very comfortable house with a good patio, take my three dogs and they had a great time, although the village does not have much to do.....you have Salamanca 30 minutes and ledesma a 10, another point in favor is that it has a lot of things for children and my 3 year old daughter had a great time reading the stories.

The house was even more beautiful than expected and cleaned to a wonderful standard. The place felt homely and spacious with enough amenities provided ie towels, kitchen utensils, food items etc. Pool and grounds were well kept by Fernando who helped us out with some queries during the week. The ruins on the property have the place an authentic and rustic feel. This is the perfect spot to get away from it all for some peace and quiet in the beautiful countryside.

A modern indoor area features a bar counter with a black and patterned design. Two stools are placed in front of the counter. A large flat-screen TV is mounted on the wall, accompanied by stylish pendant lights overhead. Light-colored flooring adds to the space.

The owner was always very accessible and attentive, giving helpful suggestions on places to visit and where to eat nearby. Access is easy and there is a nearby supermarket that offers home delivery service, which made the stay even more practical and comfortable. An experience we recommend!

We ended our vacation with two days of rest in Jorge's rental: we were not disappointed! The place is peaceful, the house is in the middle of olive trees and vineyards. You can walk there, but also rest there (hammock, relaxation area, several outdoor tables and bench, swing, etc.). There is an outdoor kitchen with a very nice barbecue. We recommend this very relaxing and calm home. The place is even better in real life than in the pictures! We'll be back without hesitation. One of the best Airbnbs we've done. Jorge and his son make themselves available if needed, always attentive. See you soon!
