Vacation rentals with a patio in Los Arribes

Es war einfach wunderschön, die Douro-Region zu besuchen – und ganz besonders, bei José und seiner Familie zu Gast zu sein. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen, idyllischen Dorflage und ist im charmanten Landhausstil eingerichtet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Bereits nach zwei Tagen hatten wir das Gefühl, als würden wir schon ewig in diesem wunderbaren Haus leben. Die Abende vor dem knisternden Kamin, mit einem Glas Portwein aus Josés eigenem Weingut, waren unvergesslich. José und seine Familie haben uns mit ihrer herzlichen Art und Aufmerksamkeit jeden Wunsch erfüllt und unseren Aufenthalt einfach perfekt gemacht. Ein absolutes Highlight ist die Weinverkostung bei José – ein Erlebnis, das man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte! Wir hoffen sehr, dass wir eines Tages zurückkehren und gemeinsam mit euch euren fantastischen Portwein genießen können. Liebe Grüße an die ganze Familie, José – und vielen Dank für alles!

Natacha and Raquel did so much for us. Such lovely, warm, genuine people. The extent to which they both went to assist us with a medical issue was heart warming. They are the salt of the earth. Their house is comfortable, full of character and well equipped, with a well stocked pantry and fridge. If you like a quiet, peaceful location, in a tiny old country village, this is it.

C'était un vrai plaisir de pouvoir tout faire à pied ! L'appartement était très confortable, propre et bien équipé. Mi pareja y yo hemos pasado un fin de semana en la casa de Francisco estupenda. Estuvimos muy cómodos en la casa. Nuestra perrita se lo pasó genial también. Perfecto para visitar Salamanca y Ledesma, y desconectar del bullicio. Las estrellas desde el jardín se ven genial.

Castelo Mendo proporciona uns dias calmos e descontraidos, no meio da natureza e da história daquela localidade, e a Casa do Sampaio ajuda a tudo isso! Uma casa com todas as comodidades! Recomendo vivamente este espaço! Limpa, espaçosa, cozinha bem equipada, quartos e Wc's fantásticos! Tudo para passar uns dias inesquecíveis! A atenção e a disponibilidade da D. Alice complementam esta descrição, uma pessoa fantástica!

Unforgettable experience! What a wonderful place in the mountains. The view and farm is unique and I enjoyed it every minute of it. Pedro is a fantastic host, best I have ever stayed at. He took hours out of his time to teach us about his culture, his land, his wine, and olive oil he produces. He was so much better than all the tastings we went to out in Douro and Dao and has such a cool cellar tasting room. The house is perfect and has every touch you need. We had a fire one night outside and all the stars were out. Just the entire farm itself is perfect for a great hike. I could write for hours about how great this place is. Thank you so much Pedro for the experience and wonderful stay at your place. Lastly, the breakfast is great, the eggs are from the chickens on the farm, oranges from the orange trees on the farm, etc, true farm to table every morning.

Olmo y su familia son encantadores. Los jardines de la casa, la huerta, el taller de carpintería, las flores, el patio… todo es como de película. Los niños estuvieron felices y los adultos también!! Esperamos poder volver pronto. Gracias por todo!!!!

Pasamos una sola noche pues íbamos de pasada pero nos quedamos con muchas ganas de volver. El entorno es espectacular y la casa tiene de todo!. 100% recomendable si buscas un sitio tranquilo con todas las comodidades. Habitaciones amplísimas y la cocina super equipada. Zelia un encanto nos recibió como de la familia. Repetiremos!!
